Originally bought the Toy Hauler to take our Polaris 4 wheeler on our trips. Given the limited RV parks that allow 4-wheelers, the garage turned into a perfect 2nd bedroom with it's own half bath and TV. Additionally, the bench and tables were a great dining area. Used the porch many times as a perfect outdoor area as well. Having the garage gave us all kinds of flexibility, from transporting our e-bikes and anything else we wanted to take, to using the garage as moving van storage. Moved our Son and Wife's belongings from SC to FL when they bought their first house. While the garage wasn't used as originally planned, it was very flexible and turned out to be the perfect second bedroom for our visiting family! The Momentum has a 40K btu furnace for winter and (3) 15K btu air conditioners for the Summer. With it's 4 season insulation, it was perfect when we went skiing in 10 degree WV or 110 degrees in AZ. Given all the appliances (18 cu ft Fridge/Freezer, gas range and oven, convection micro-oven and island sink), the 351M has all the comforts of home on wheels. Entertainment is just like home with (3) flat screen TV's and a 3 zone pioneer stereo system. Lastly, the Grand Design 351M was designed very well and built with much higher quality than most RV's. This is an amazing rig. We purchased this because of the mid-bunkroom. This rig has a TON of storage space, in the living area, in the kitchen area, in the bedroom, underneath. The convection microwave is a huge plus. We’ve used the oven, but we all know RV ovens aren’t the best. The convection microwave works great. I've made biscuits and cookies, etc.. in it multiple times. Refrigerator has a ton of space. We’ve gone on 30 day trips in this rig and had no issues with any of the appliances. We upgraded the batteries because we keep it in a storage facility when not being used. We upgraded to a trickle charger for those batteries for the same reason. Show less

We've had the RV for just over 4 years. Bought new. We do not travel with the unit. It is on a seasonal site. However I did move it 60 miles from the original seasonal location to another and it towed very well. The only real issue we've ever had was the Norcold 1210 model refrigerator. The original one was DOA upon us taking delivery. It was replaced quickly and that unit lasted about 2 years. GD was helpful in coordinating a replacement unit along with our dealer. That one failed as well. I replaced it with a residential refrigerator. I replaced the bathroom faucet as well. The original was simply too low to the sink bowl. A simple and easy process. Otherwise the floor plan, storage and overall functionality has been awesome for us. Show less

This RV checks almost all the boxes if you need a toy hauler but still camp in conventional campgrounds as it’s still under 40’. This is the trailer for you. Good kitchen storage , kitchen is cramped with more than 2 people in it at once. Limited space for eating but good couch layout for watching TV. Big master bedroom and good size shower and great half bath in the garage for the kids. Small outside storage gotta get creative but still works. This trailer has had the least amount of problems out of my previous Dutchman and Forest River trailers. Would purchase again. Show less

We lived in our RV for almost 4 years, and it has treated us very nicely and without any problems. This layout gave us so much room and storage for everything we could ever need. We did upgrade our fridge to a Samsung residential fridge for more space as we were living it in. Show less

2020 Grand Design Solitude was perfect for our full-time living with kids. Large living room with 2 slide-outs and giant windows, large kitchen with island, 2 bedrooms (one fits a king size mattress) the other we converted to a bunk room, lots of storage, washer & dryer, large fresh water and gray tanks - all these made it comfortable for full time living and traveling. We got a nice solar setup and a generator and were able to boondock for over a week at a time. Lots of great memories! The 2020 model is also great because it is fairly new but still pre-pandemic so the quality is there. Show less

This model has exceptional storage capability. I like the distinct separation of each of the rooms especially separating the kitchen from the living area. The 5 slide-outs are deep and wide which is what makes a 5th wheel so much better than a motorhome. Show less

For a couples RV this is the perfect RV to travel the US in. Tows easy, and the artic package is great to heat or cool this RV fast. When camping in the coach is so well insulated that you won't hear neighbors talking outside. Used mostly in the Florida heat and have no issue in cooling down the rv fast, or keeping a comfortable temp 24/7. No need in having a heavy duty truck to pull this coach pulls easy with a 4.0L Ford Ranger with no issue. Braking system on this RV is great for stopping Show less

With two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, the 311BHS is perfect for families. It's hard to find this much livable space in a 37 ft floor plan. The electric fireplace/space heater was an unexpected surprise. Not that it was in the rig, but we enjoyed it so much. The fireplace does a great job taking the chill out on a early fall morning. The ambiance while snuggled up in the the theater seats was enjoyed. Show less

Just wanted to drop a few lines about my 2020 Grand Design Transcend 29TBS. This trailer is the real deal when it comes to hitting the road. First off, the sleeping situation is awesome. There's a queen bed that's super comfy for the grown-ups, and the kids have their own bunk space. It's like they've got their own little den, which means they're out of our hair at bedtime. Win-win! The kitchen is a dream. Cooking in this thing is a piece of cake. Whether you're whipping up breakfast inside or grilling burgers outside, you've got everything you need. Plus, cleaning up is no sweat, so more time to chill. You know how you pack for a trip and wonder where to put all your stuff? Well, this trailer has storage for days. I mean, you can bring along all your gear and still have room to walk around. It's pretty sweet. I've had a couple of trailers before, but this one feels like it's built to last. Everything's put together really well, and it just feels sturdy, you know? Had a small issue with the outdoor spray port once, and the folks at Grand Design were on it like white on rice. Seriously, their customer service is top-notch. It's really big at 36 feet, but it tows easy even with a half ton truck or some large suvs. So, yeah, if you're looking for a travel trailer that's like a home away from home, this is it.
