I purchased it privately when it was two years old. I was told the hot water tank had already been replaced. There are so many poor quality issues I don't know were to start. One of the biggest issues for me is the fact there is no insulation in the walls. My neighbors might as well be sitting in my unit as I can hear everything.
Yes one A/C can't come close to cooling it. 85 outside 85 inside but no humidity. Close the drawers in the kitchen and you can still see the drawer slide ends . Cheap vent fans with small fans blades don't really exhaust any air. I can go on and on but you get the picture. I know most RVs are far from perfect but I definitely would never buy a Prime Time again. I could have gotten a much better built unit for the same price I paid. Looks good but that's it

Spare yourself the trouble and don’t buy one of these. I’ve lived in it for about 7 months and it has been one thing after another. Now I understand this particular trailer may not really be meant for long term living, and most of them aren’t built with 5 star materials but I wonder if whoever designed this really put any thought into it at all. Let’s start from the outside. Under the trailer near the rear wheels there is just a giant hole that leads into all the wires and water lines underneath the trailer, perfect for rodents to get into all of your cabinets where there is water lines and/or cords running through to the bottom of the trailer. Which in this model just so happens to be all of them. Horrible design flaw. We had rats, and then after the rats came mice. Most of the areas are impossible to access without tearing out panels so in order to clean the feces they left behind you’re going to have to tear everything apart. All of this could have been avoided if the trailer designer didn’t leave a huge hole in the bottom of the outside. Somehow the rodents even made their way into the storage area under the bed, on the complete other side of the trailer. Don’t ask me how, couldn’t tell ya. A few of the windows leak when it rains as well as the window in the front door, easy fixes but still annoying. Moving to the bathroom, my least favorite of the entire build. It is functional, but very very tiny. The doorway from the kitchen area into the bathroom is so narrow, I am a small woman and I have to tuck my arms or I’ll whack into the doorknob or door frame, and then when the door is open you can’t access the toilet or shower without closing it unless you’re maybe 3 years old. I feel like they should have added a pocket door there. Not the end of the world if you’re just going on a weekend trip but annoying if you plan to be in it long term. The shower, oh the shower. It is two pieces, the tub and then the piece that wraps around the walls. But whoever installed it or whatever did it so poorly that the crack between the two pieces is wider on one end of the shower and impossible to clean on the other. Water gets in there obviously and who knows how much moisture and mold is back there. I’m not down for an entire RV bathroom remodel right now so out of sight out of mind for me. But I know how mold works. The floor around the shower is not sealed where it meets the cardboard like walls. So obviously water gets there, soaks right up into the wall piece and is mold city. It is however sealed around the bathroom sink, so I’m not sure why they skipped doing the floor. Easy enough to do yourself I suppose. Ample cabinet space in the bathroom at least but the one under the sink has been tainted by the rodents. Only a few months into living in this trailer half of the outlets just stopped working. Only 3 in the entire unit work now. Still have yet to find out why that happened. The electric water heater has recently started to trip the breaker every time it’s used, I don’t really trust the wiring in this thing to use it at all anymore until an electrician looks at everything. So be ready to just replace that after only a few months of use. The gas heater seems to work, but again, it seems sketchy to me. Call me paranoid but I don’t want to risk it. Not trying to start a fire! All in all, I would not recommend this trailer if you want to use it long term.

Within 4 years of buying our Avenger we have replaced the entire front cap due to major leaking and rot. The mattress was as expected for "camper comfort" so we added a second one for added fluff. Both the dinette cushions and the futon have begun to flake and tear and the table has needed reinforcing due to major wobble. Also, the gages are constantly having the floats stick and have to be exercised to work, sometimes. The camper does pull ok and for not having a slide out it is fairly functional. This is definitely a bottom shelf company.

I loved the floor plan, I found it roomy. I didn't care for the high kitchen table bench and chairs but i got used to it. Fabulous kitchen with lots of cabinets, acceptable walk around bedroom with a good size dresser. The bathroom is great but the fan does not have a switch on the wall. You need to get a stool and reach up to turn it on when you need to circulate air.
The Structure was awful. I had issues with the door. The outside gas valve leaked after 6 months. The decor was very cheaply put together. The walls had lots of staples and some staple holes were filled in. The bathroom sink molding separated; the electric came with no USB's working. Some overhead lights didn't work because of wiring passing through the large slide became loose while in transit. It took over 2 years for Campers Inn NH to take care of the work because Prime would not reimburse them. It is now may 2023 and Campers Inn Still has not fixed the USBs despite them telling me they will. (Last communication was sept of 2022) Overall. I love the layout but I need to keep up with the short comings and poor construction. I am able to do this because i read all the issues so many people had and how they fixed or delt with them. The larger Dealers like to talk about their fantastic warranties but that is false. Beware and read. NO Dealership will fully honor a factory warrantee and extended warrantees without hassles and outright refusing to repair an issue. I have the documentation to prove it. It will be a few good years before i have to purchase my 3rd RV. Because of the drastic decline in quality i will know what to beware of.

I first reviewed this unit on 2-27-20. Since this review my opinion has somewhat changed. First I noticed that at the passenger side front next to the head of the bed some water after a rain. I looked at the front cap corner molding and noticed it had pulled away from where it was attached. The screws used at the factory to attach the molding were only 1-1/4" long and had pulled out of the wood. I used 4" screws to reattach and draw the molding back into place on both sides. Replaced the cheap Chinese tires with Goodyears. Trying to get info. from the factory is a waste of time. The water heater works sometimes. I do all the work on this unit myself so I know it is done right. I would be embarrassed to say I built these trailers. I built a fiberglass battery box on the tongue of the trailer with 4- 6v Trojan batteries, have 3 -100 watt Renogy solar panels on top of trailer and a 1000w Renogy pure sine wave inverter, & Dish playmaker sat. After extensive rebuilding I now like my trailer. With the Rec-Pro double recliner we installed it is very comfortable for our weeks of boondocking in Colorado. You better be a handyman to own Prime Time products.

On 2-27-20 I wrote a review of this trailer. My opinion on the quality of Avenger ATI 26RDS has changed. The down pipe from the island sink was to short to reach the P trap and the water was going everywhere when draining the sink. I noticed some water on a pillow that was by the bed and at the corner of the front cap. The trim on each side of the front cap was installed with very short screws resulting in the screws pulling out. The metal siding on the passenger side of the trailer had popped out away from the trim. We were lucky that the wind didn't catch the metal and rip it off going down the road. There were many other more minor issues and I repaired all of them myself so I know it is done correctly. I used 3" screws to reattach the front cap trim and resealed. Forest River makes the Avenger and they have very poor to no QUALITY CONTROL. See my other review on 2-27-20. Really like the floor plan of this trailer

Do not buy Forest River products. I have owned my unit for 3 years now and it has been a massive headache since I bought it. Two weeks into owning it, I noticed a dark spot in the middle of the main walking area. It was a nail or screw pushing through the vinyl floor. I spoke to the service manager where I bought it from and he said something close to “Just bring it in within the first year and it will be submitted under warranty. You may have other issues that develop so just wait for now.”
The unit was brought in eleven months after purchase and the service department recommended that the whole floor be replaced because patches are temporary and they get snagged, curled up or pull away. Forest River only approved a patch which was completed as a 2-inch by 2-inch piece. By the time I got back into my unit, the edges of the patch were already comping up and it looked terrible. I refused to accept the unit. They patched it again with a larger piece which looked cosmetically better but I was still concerned with it coming up and, go figure, that patch started coming up a year later. Forest River denied any responsibility until I had an attorney speak to them about it so they re-adhered one edge that was the primary edge coming up. Now the other three edges are coming up and again they are claiming no responsibility.
So in September of 2020, I noticed reps along the roofline where the roof membrane wraps around the corner before it goes under the rain gutter. I brought the unit in where I brought it and the service department put in the estimate that it was tearing due to poor install. Mind you, the roof membrane has a 10-year warranty. Forest River denied the claim telling me I have to call my insurance company because the pictures show that I hit something. The service department told me to be patient and they would handle it but Forest River kept denying any responsibility. In February 2021, I retained an attorney and the situation resolved. In early May, the service department called to let me know that Forest River negotiated the terms of a deal to replace the roof at their cost. On May, 31 of 2021, I brought the unit in for the roof replacement; at which time was also when they re-adhered the floor that was coming up again. I picked up the unit on June 12th of 2021 and everything seemed fine until late July when I noticed the floor was bubbling up on the driver’s side of the unit. I went into the storage area and the floor was a sponge. Also, the plastic visqueen on the underneath section felt like a waterbed because there was so much water laying on top of it. Forest River again claims no responsibility for it. When you try to buy a unit with the Forest River name, on it they will claim there are warranties, but they do not acknowledge any of them. I have never purchased a new product before and had this many large issues with it in this short of a time. It shows me that their product is just poor workmanship. I’d stay away from Forest River Products.
