We purchased the 2019 2401RG new, based on Winnebago's reputation and quality. We love the floorplan with the bathroom entry from either the living area or the Master with two doors. Also the second exterior door going into the bedroom is a very nice feature. The storage space is well planned and plentiful for a 28 ft trailer. No warranty factory issues. This was our first RV experience and we have enjoyed it. We did add a Lippert one touch leveling system, which made set up and tear down a snap. It is worth every dollar. I can say that Winnebago has lived up to the high standard we expected when we purchased the RV new and has never disappointed. My wife and I highly recommend this model.

Replaced all tires & Batteries. have driven it over 11,000 miles all over the country with little or minor issues - I had an issue with 2 of the basement doors opening during travel - Winnebago had a recall on the doors Colonial RV in New Jersey put secondary locks on all basement doors under warranty with no cost to me. Great place. I take it to a Freightliner Repair shop every 6500 miles (3X since purchase)for an oil change & lube along with other PM items wash & wax every couple of months & keep the seals clean If you take care of the mechanicals it will take care of you. Good Reliable Machine The Freightliner shops have been knowledgeable & friendly & Colonial RV in southern NJ easy to work with Wholesale Warranty- extended warranty not so good. Had a DEF fitting crack @ the ejection line fitting going into the exhaust- they stated not covered because it is part of exhaust system. It is not its part of environmental control system- using their logic the turbo charge would be part of exhaust. If you need parts you wouldn’t find them in the exhaust section Good Machine reasonably Priced still having fun with it. Currently stored indoors for the Winter first 2024 trip March 30th to South Carolina

I found this RV a breeze to drive, making it the perfect RV for driving cross country. I had no issues driving it down into the Yosemite Valley and even parked it at a ParkNRide in San Francisco. The interior is in pristine condition, including updated upholstery, beautiful Italian cabinetry with massive storage. Exterior storage, not so much, but it was plenty enough for two people traveling. The twin bed floor plan made it convenient to sleep anytime. Loved the privacy shades and the beautiful lighting that was among the many unique features of this 24V Navion.

This is my second Winnebago RV and there is something seriously wrong in the manufacturing department of Winnebago My first RV class C Winnebago model H was a 2007 and worked like a charm for 12 years. I enjoyed it so much I decided to sell it and buy another with the bed in the back model J 2019 Winnebago Navion. I took it in for the MVI, motor vehicle inspection last week and they could not pass it as the bottom is rusted out so bad that they told me the outside compartment are in danger of falling down. It is 4 year old with 44,000. miles In the last 5 months I have replaced the water pump, The mother board in the generator, the invertor , the converter, the Microwave and have lost the top trim known as the shark fin off the top. I also have to disconnect the engine battery under the dash if I am parked for more them 4 hours as there is something in the radio component draining the battery. I have contacted Winnebago and they told me the rust issue is not under warranty as it is from salt on the road and there is nothing they can do.

First of all, the positives. The rig is a beast of power. The Mercedes Diesel is relentless both off road and on road excursions. I towed over 3K lbs over the steep and high Rocky Mountains of Montana, Denver, New Mexico. The hot desert roads of Death Valley, and the Appalachian Wooded mountains of Georgia, Kentucky and Alabama. Now the negatives, Generator died with 4hours use, toilet connections leaked, Infotainment Center is like a bad relationship (on again, off again) … replaced frozen shower valve … DEF sensor replaced twice, still not consistent … screen door squeaks and rattles like is about ready to fall off … propane tank sensor replaced twice, when this fails you cannot use any of the propane appliances … back up camera keeps freezing … Slide out locked when in a out position … left side stabilizer jack motor failed, using a drill bit to open and close … water pump connection broke, leaked under bed spend a week drying it out … tankless water heater controls are very temperamental, took several hot/cold showers … chrome wheel nut covers were tacked on … when I had the brakes replaced, the mechanic removed them … informed me they were just tacked on with an aluminum bead … I have a bag of shiny chrome nut covers stored in my drawer …. I attached a 120K RV garage to my current 2 car garage, just so this rig would not be exposed to any harsh weather elements … should have just put the money on a higher quality RV, and keep it outside in a cover.
