Roof seal was incorrectly layed missing the front/sidewall joint on the right corner where water collected and seeped into walls causing the front portion to separate from the sides and outside walls to warp. Contacted Palomino really just for a suggestion on how to fix and they just put the blamed on me saying I didn't follow the owners manual and reseal it twice a year. Didn't offer any type of solution, just a not our problem attitude. Keep in mind the seal didn't fail, the craftsmanship and QC failed.
Also low score on the floor layout as a friend has the same style of camper made by Keystone and it has twice the storage capacity.

After buying this camp trailer we have encountered nothing but problems. First we had 4 inches screws used, which left 2 inches of exposed screws under the bench seats. This caused me to get a nasty gash from finding the screws. After looking further there were more than 10 screws we had to cut off to prevent future injuries. We have only taken our trailer on 6 short trips about an hour or two from home. We just took our first cross country trip and man did it go even more downhill from there. We had to replace the kitchen sink after our first couple of trips as it broke under the sink and began leaking everywhere. This was followed by the shower handle to also breaks and no longer shut off, followed by the hose cracking and sending more water raining into the bathroom. On our very first trip one of the domes came off in transit. We found out as it started to rain and we go into our room to see it was now raining on our bed. Our second trip resulted in another dome flying off while in transit as well. We know both times the domes were closed as we had never opened them and checked before we pulled out. The poo hose caps fell of in transit on our 4th trip. Now the best of the best happened on our cross country trip. We drove from WA state to MI. On the trip home we had one of the tires seize and the full hub assembly and everything broke loose and of course caused a ton of damage to the propane lines, black and grey water brackets, the back corner outer and inner wall, and flush lines. This left us stranded in Miles City MT with a quote for $3800 to tow it to the nearest facility. Insurance would only cover $250 of that cost. In the end I would NEVER buy any other Forest River product. It is put together very badly, and clearly the lowest of craftsmanship possible. Every trip we take results in something else going wrong or breaking. For the cost of the trailer, you’d expect getting much more than 2 years of use to enjoy it rather than constantly having to repair or replace things. Not to mention the safety hazard of the axles failing and sending the tire and full hub assembly flying. This could have caused such a bad accident that sent the trailer on its side taking our truck and us with it. Thankfully this wasn’t the case. I now have found many recalls for the hub assembly for exactly what happened to us. Our model wasn’t included but clearly this safety issue is present for us as well. I’ve yet to be able to speak to someone at Forest River so we shall see what they do.

Poorest quality ever, can’t believe it was made in the U.S. All parts must be foreign made. I actually pick this one from others because of obvious workmanship issues on the others.
I had to modify my table so it wouldn’t hit the island unless it was in the bed position. Replace refrigerator fan twice, 2.5 years old and had three blowouts. Replace the kitchen faucet, other wouldn’t move left a to right without the whole base turning. Replaced the bypass valve to the freshwater tank. Plastic door frames warped preventing the doors to close. DVD player won’t make through most dvd’s without stopping.

I love the floorplan of this RV. The quality is extremely poor and I'm very disappointed in it. This was purchased in 2019 brand new. Cost me about $30k. Every year I take it in for winterizing and every year I've had to have repairs done. All of which aren't covered by my extended warranty. My cabinet hinges keep breaking. The panelling keeps pulling apart as it's only attached with staples. The glass shower doors weren't siliconed when they were installed so the shower leaked water everywhere. I had to silicone around the doors. I also had to check the drain under the shower because of water leaking and it wasn't connected properly. Now this year the bed is falling apart. It looks like the framing was also put together with staples. This isn't covered under warranty either so I'm going to have to get some screws and rebuild my queen bed. Probably going to have to go thru the whole unit and make sure it's built properly. I've already had to replace the mattress as it was breaking down after only two years of sleeping on it. The previous RV's I've owned I also purchased brand new and I've never had these problems. Not sure if it's the manufacturer as this is my first experience with Forest River. But I won't be inclined to purchase another RV from them again. Very disappointed in the quality. I've also had problems with the seal on the toilet, the awning was falling off, those were covered under warranty. The fridge wouldn't run on electricity and after investigation when I took the outside access panel off I found it wasn't plugged into the outlet. The fridge is making a weird sound but nobody can find out a reason. If it craps out I hope it does it while I have the extended warranty. The roof vent snapped and fell off just with driving down the highway, never been off road with the RV. The microwave quits when defrosting. Still haven't figured out whats happening with that. I had a water leak the dealer couldn't find but they did have to do a leak test on the trailer and reseal the entire unit. That was under my extended warranty. I've realized my trailer is a $30k pos. Very disappointing.

Purchased new in late spring of 2018. Installed on Gmc 2500 HD crew cab and left for Alaska for 5 weeks. Heater, AC, water tank and pump, all worked as they should. Fridge takes a while to get cold and seems to struggle a little on gas.Hot water heater was nice but hot water pressure seems low. Electric roof lift works as it should. Using manual Jack's to raise and lower camper was a pain, we later installed electric motors on jacks. Had a couple on pieces of trim come loose inside camper, but gorilla glue quickly solved that problem. Queen bed is comfortable, but do wish another step was built in to access it. Not able to access storage lockers along side of bed unless top is lifted on camper, sometimes a pain. Power vents work great for ventilation. We cut down the size of the rectangular tabletop so you could more easily sit at dinette. Extra board used to turn dinette into a bed is stored upside down under sear cushion. Had 1 leak in year 2 from seal around outside yellow porch light by doorway. Seal Had deteriorated. Cleaned and recaulked. Major issue has been yellow mold on and under seal where roof section lowers for traveling. A regular cleaning and treating of it has helped. We do wish air conditioner fan would only run when cooling and not all the time, and I do wish it was easier to change water-filter on system. Not much room under bench for wiring, water tank and pump, water filter, battery, etc. Going on year 3 with the camper and still having fun in it. We do have the folding steps. They are great when camper is on the truck, but cannot leave the tailgate on and use them. Also, they are a pain to use when camper is off of the truck and lowered down. We just use a good, solid milk crate as a step then. Also purchased a set of Stabil-Stiks to use when camper is off of the truck to help stop shaking and sway. Other than normal maintenance,no major issues. It has been a good camper that we continue to use.. I'm 66, my wife is 61.

First time out the outdoor speakers blew out with just low volume on the radio. The carbon monoxide detector goes off when the water heater ignites. The electric jacks blow the fuses nearly every time we lower them. We had the dealer fix the trim inside around the doors, but now it's curling up again. The shower pan has a ten inch long crack in it, after only a half dozen uses. The toilet leaked the first time out. The outer trim around the screw channels is peeling off. The DVD player stopped working the fourth time we went camping. We bought this trailer brand new, to replace a 20 year old one that had much less wrong with it than this. We've been getting the run around from the dealer, I suppose if they stall long enough the warranty will expire. We'll never buy another Forest River product again and we are forewarning people: Be wary of ANY new trailers manufactured in the last 5 years. Our dealings with other Forest River owners who have had nothing but problems with their new Forest Rivers has shown us that most of these "budget" trailers (I don't see how $30,000.00 is considered a "budget" trailer) are hastily built, sometimes not even cleaned or completed when they reach the dealership and most have nothing but hassles when dealing with dealers. We are in the works with a "Lemon Law" attorney, but it is a long slow process and we still are paying $250 a month for a trailer we can't use. We're not party-hardy kids, we're in our 50s and wanted something to travel around the country with, we've had this junker out less than a dozen times and less than 300 miles on it and already the trailer is falling apart like a 30 year old one with thousands of miles on it.
Never Forest River, Ever Again.
