Overall our Lance 1995 is very well constructed. We have experienced a few issues with trim falling off including the baseboard at the bottom of the dinette slide. We had to have a refrigerator replaced due to my leaving the refrigerator door open when I retracted the dinette slide and cracking the interior of the refrigerator. It was difficult to get hold of the factory to schedule replacement of the refrigerator. I didn't trust the dealer to do the job. But once the service was scheduled at the factory they did a good job replacing the refrigerator even fabricating a new trim piece because the refrigerator was a slightly different form factor.

Well thought out design with quality components residential hardware, best ever quiet gas/electric furnace/water heater, full 80" Queen bed and very comfortable seating. However very poor build quality and manufacturer support. For instance the sofa was only secured at one end in the slide, a stub wall fell over because the screws had been broken off when screwed into the metal door frame, the movable tables were poorly attached so they tilted and wobbled so had to be remounted, the seal strip joining the two halves of the trailer just fell off, weather strip around the windows comes off in hot weather, dishes fall off of the top shelf because the shelf doesn't reach the cupboard door, the $600 tank cover blew away because the latches are poorly designed. The "European windows" will slam closed in a gust of wind because the arms don't lock. The factory won't sell parts directly, only through dealers.

LANCE Camper customer service and Warranty support is a joke. I will never recommend anyone buy a LANCE Camper. The Heki Midi hatch openings are GARBAGE. My Heki Midi hinge - which is made entirely of plastic - broke while parked in my driveway during a wintery windstorm. This is a defect in design by the factory for using a plastic hinge that could not stand up to a very normal winter storm. Also turns out the Keki Midi is completely unavailable and cannot be replaced. Lance will not talk to me about warranty repair of the unit. The customer service dept is completely ignoring my cries for help to fix their flawed design.
Buyers Beware - Lance offers no support and in my opinion is not honoring the 10-year warranty they claim covers my camper. They offer no service, solutions or help. If you want customer service, look elsewhere - Lance Campers only wants to make a sale - not take care of the customer afterwards.

Our 2019 Lance 1685 twin axle has been free of problems since we bought it back then. Very solidly built, no leaks, no failures, no surprises other than how well built it is and how much room there is inside this compact trailer. It tows easily behind our GMC Yukon SUV. I think the aerodynamic curved front helps. Plenty of payload capacity, spacious interior, full dry bath, and a quality 60x80 queen bed. Good ventilation, powerful heater, effective A/C. The 45 gal fresh water, 45 gal gray, 45 gal black lets us travel for a week without refilling. Four season package and double pane windows means we haven't seen condensation on the windows.

When we bought our Lance 1995 the dealer wisely had us purchase an Equalizer hitch to pull it behind our Ford F-150. It pulls easily and have not had any issues towing it. It's a comfortable trailer with a lot of storage. The corner bath is accessible with the slide in, which was a real selling point. Camping in early spring in the Steen's Mountain area made us appreciate the furnace overnight. It's well ducted thru out the trailer including the bathroom. It's also ducted to keep each of the 45 gallon the storage tanks warm. And with three propane tanks, you won't easily run out. We've had no serious problems over the past two years and I would recommend people consider Lance Trailers for the quality of the build.

We bought a 2019, and are now just past our warranty. Lance tried to cut us off before our warranty was even over. That being said, in the 2 years we've owned this camper we've had: leaking from both the skylights,a metal plate fall from underneath the fridge relating to the furnace, a broken water pump, the microwave come out from the trim when I took I70 across the state, leaking from the back ends when I hooked up to city water, and outside storage locks that jam/won't open. Lance wants a little to do with us and only helps by sending recalled parts (FLIMSY skylight replacement). We bought this camper because we figured we'd have quality. Nope.
So terribly disappointed with Lance.
For now, we're going to live with what we have, look to getting rid of this camper and buy from Outdoors RV.

Slide out doesen't work well have to reset frequently. etc. Just some of the challenges. Not happy. Had a Big Foot trailer for 15 years with minimal issues. very dissapointing to pay so much for such a poor quality trailer.

Loads of storage areas includina a large basement storage drawer.
The windows have very nive screen or shade for daytime and night time privacy.
This RV gets a lot of attention from onlookers in the campgrounds and for good reason.
