Screws going through side walls with no caulk or sealant leaking... 4.Screws holding the drip edge on were drywall screws, no caulking or sealant coving them so water will get in... I was at the Tampa RV Show and spoke with the Eastern Reginal Sales Manager Martin Seneca sent him pictures and when he found out I was a second owner there was no more contact other than to tell me the warranty isn't transferable...

We have loved owning this RV. From road trips to tailgates and sports events, it has been such a pleasure owning this! Traveling with our 3 kids and 2 dogs it has been roomy and comfortable. We would love for another family to own and love this RV so they can make memories and enjoy life with their kids. We have RV'd with our extended family as well. We drove from Mass to Hilton Head, as well as to Cape Cod, Maine, and Vermont. We visited National Parks like Acadia and we did beach trips. We have loved being able to bring our dogs on vacation and wish we could keep it. Unfortunately because 2 of our kids are heading to college it is not something we can make use of right now but we definitely intend to own another RV in the future. Whether you are a seasoned camper or newer to RVing like we were, we know you will have fun with it. The kids love being able to sleep and relax while we travel.

The Jayco Precept 29V is not huge, and I probably wouldn't want to live in one full time. However, at 32 feet it is comfortable for several weeks at a time and it's easy to maneuver into nearly any park or campground and many boondocking locations. The single slide minimizes potential mechanical difficulties of having multiple slides. The galley is modest but contains every convenience of your home kitchen. One of my favorite floorplan features is the dinette placement on the patio side. Who wants to eat meals looking at the utilities or your neighbor's patio!? And there are many other features we like, such as a full shower that accommodates my 6'2" frame with no problem, king-sized bedroom, another bed (queen) that is tucked up against the ceiling of the cab until you use the power feature to lower it for use. And don't forget the large tanks for fresh and waste water, propane, and a large onboard generator making it easy to go several days without hookups. Oh, and did I mention the Ford V10 has plenty of power to flat tow a full-sized SUV? There are just too many cleverly engineered features of this RV to list individually.

Kitchen has two large panties, a very nice bar area and a nice appliance area with storage below. The fireplace is wonderful for ambiance or heat. There are two sofas and two stadium seats for plenty of seating. The stadium seats have heat and massage. The living room also has two curio cabinets, and stereo system. Two large awnings outside. The bedroom has plenty of storage.

The pull down beds on each end is a great idea but again poor quality and framing materials. The tent material is good quality but poor craftsmanship. Same with windows, the water heater, and most everything on the RV including the frame. Great design POOR QUALITY.

My first 5th wheel and I am blessed to have found this one, I looked for a year and a half then this one came on line it had a few minor flaws from the first owner who didn't know how to tow a 5th wheel which I fixed in the first few weeks I had the rig... I started by putting lots of upgrades on her like slide-out awnings, new LIPPERT 3.0 Self-leveling system which took the quest work out of leveling and a bunch of other personal touches to make it our own my wife was all for purchasing the 5th wheel the colors and interior cabinets were light colored which really made the sale, we have had it for 2.5 years and we have enjoyed every minute of camping with her... The floor plan was also a great feature that sold us...

Jayco brand loyalty customers for over 35 years. . .UNTIL NOW! Purchased a new Jay Feather 22RB in November 2019, prior to Covid shutdowns thru 2020. This rig has hardly been used (maybe 10 times with less than 500 road miles) but has had a LOT of repairs, recalls, and major item replacements. Most of these issues arose during our warranty periods, BUT each service visit took extremely long periods of time (months) to complete. We have had to replace the electrical circuit board to the furnace, the electric jack, the entire entry door and trims twice (and service neglected to replace exterior decals), replace and fix interior shower components, shower sliding door, gas connections, step down regulator, and there was a 6 month period where we were not able to use our gas stove due to a manufacturer safety recall and no replacement parts. Presently, after one use in April 2023, the slide out is out of alignment, and apparently a key gasket was never installed to stop road water from entering the rig. Additionally, the A/C quit working on our last outing August 2022. Needless to say, other than the toilet and refrigerator, there's not much left to replace, repair, or recall! Hopefully I didn't just jinx us!!! Our advice, DON'T purchase a Jayco unless you don't mind having it out of service more than in recreational use. For whatever reasons, Jayco's quality control, install of low-quality products, and "we don't care" customer service, are well below the industry standards we have relied on for the past 35 years. Total disappointment. No longer a brand loyalty customer.

This is our third Jayco recreational vehicle. Prior to this class A, we owned a Jayco Class C and a Jayco travel trailer. The great 2-year warranty was longer than most manufactures offer. We appreciated the fact that the company employs Amish workers. Jayco's Magnum Truss Roof Design is 50% stronger than its competition. We also appreciate that Jayco attempts to utilize every inch of space to create ample storage. We have heard from other campers that during 2020-2021 & the Covid pandemic, the Recreational Vehicles that were being produced at a very rapid speed, due to high consumer demand - were found to have numerous issues with them. We have a 2019 Jayco Precept 31 UL and have never had an issue or problem with our awesome motorhome. Buying an RV is like purchasing a car or truck...you never know if it's going to be a "lemon" or not. Even the most expensive RVs can encounter flaws. Happy Camping...Happy Full-timing...Happy life !!!

Worst investment we've ever done! Paid $76,000 brand new and thank God we bought the extended warranty! Even though some of the things that needed to be fixed should have been under the warranty! So, after a new water heater, 2 refrigerators and another cooling unit with outside damage to the refrigerator and wood work will being repaired. A stove top replacement, oven replacement, new lighting under the outside awning, trim repair staples popping out of the walls, 3 couches, 2 theater seating, bathroom counter replacement due to poor caulking job and after the counter was replaced, the caulking let go again and has lifted the counter where the faucet is which now has pushed the back board up so now that bubbles out. Stripped screws on the steps going upstairs and cupboard doors, worpped bathroom cupboard door, trim on the slide outs had bad rivets so the trim bent going down the road. Nails popping out o the walls, outsider steps rusting at the top already, rubber striping underneath these steps peeled away leaving black sticky marks all over. I'm not sure if all the new campers are being made with really poor quality but I highly recommend that you stay away from Jayco and this unit. Heating and cooling is terrible, my old 2001 Thor still does better today than this one. Funny part is one of the guys at the dealership said to me that these weren't made to travel so much!! Really! We travel twice a year with it, WI to AZ and back. All I can say is STAY AWAY FROM JAYCO! Do your research if you plan to do a lot of traveling or full-time RVing.
