Problem after problem. Switches failing, soft spots in the floor, water heater quit working, water pump quit working, toilet broke, slide out motors failing multiple times, slide out frame work broke, axle installed improperly from factory, interior fake wood covering is peeling, exterior trim is falling off, sealer around roof accessories is cracking and lifting. This trailer has so many problems you would think it was 15 years old but it is less than 5 years old. And if you include covid time that it wasn't used this trailer would be considered lightly used. I would highly encourage any rv buyer to stay as far away as possible from coachman apex.

I can honestly say that this camper is the worst camper I have ever owned. We bought it brand new. As soon as we started using it, the slide leaked and caused damage to the floor and walls. The toilet leaked because the water hose on the back was cut too short. The tub leaked. The refrigerator took almost a full day to get cold. The water pump doesn't work at all and had to be replaced. The furnace did not want to kick on. Took a lot of work to get it to kick on and stay working. 1 year out the outside light completely stopped working. The camper was slapped together. To this day I am finding how shotty of work Forest River really does on their campers. I would never ever buy a Coachmen or anything made by Forest River ever again. When I get the chance I am trading this in for a camper that is worth something and is built decent because Forest River is not worth what they charge for them.

If I didn't like the livability and floorplan, I would sell this. My list of issues. Furnace circuit board, died the first year. Seal on the front bunk (in stored position) needed replace due to poor build. Satellite port did not work as whoever built it, did a horrible job putting the wall to out side connection cable. Till this day I have to fix it once a year. **Worse** Whoever installed the foam gasket for the front compartment door, did a horrible job. Water leaked from the frame, down the skin, to the frame, wicked up in the cheapest chip board possible in the market. Rotted out a 2 by 3 foot section that cost me $1800 to fix. Told by dealer the was NOT ONE THING I COULD HAVE DONE TO PREVENT THIS!!! Water never leaked into the compartment, and you can't inspect the floor due to the felt that is again to protect the cheapest crap chip board.... ***Probably worse yet to come. *** flat boards under rubber roof starting warp up... so I'll probable have to replace the roof on a "3 year old trailer" as I bought in in 2019.... Hot Water heater died July 4th weekend 2022... same trip the trailer brakes stop working completely, including the emergence break away brake applicator. I had to install a support board as they assumed that only cheap staples and cheap paneling would support someone seating on the bench seat... Constantly fixing the shelf support under the sink that doesn't even have much weight on it as again the installers though one small cheap staple (that says it all... cheap staple) would hold this up attached to the wall. Blind cover over the blinds are starting to fall off the walls. Now if I was traveling every weekend and driving super long distances, I could see most of this as wear and tear.. However I only use it like 4 times a year. The zamp solar charging is a joke. I have better luck with 400% cheaper panels connected to the battery's than the factory installed one. The Warranty should tell you. One year is as much as they trust their own product... At least I got the front seal and heater done under that... Rest is making me spend the same amount on repairs that I spent buying the damned thing. Should have more than 800 cargo capacity. IF the quality was better... I absolutely love the camper.. as a camper. I love that the beds don't take up any living space. But the nickel dollaring me has to stop!

This is such a wonderful RV - easy to drive and maneuver yet big enough to live in for an extended time. I so appreciate the corner bed and it is an extra long full so we found it as roomy as our Queen bed at home. Having a corner bed means we can easily camp or stop for a nap and not have to open the slide. Now that is a big deal if you are on the road and it is too tight of quarters to open the slide - and trust me, that will happen. The bath really works well. Having the sink outside the room with the separate shower and toilet is very handy. Means I am putting on my make-up and doing my hair while my guy is in the shower. AND there is an outside shower so coming back from the beach you can clean up so easily and no drag the mess inside the coach.

The overall quality on the Coachman Catalina 333RETS was poor. All of the slides leaked, the paneling under the bed was falling apart, and the living area floor was getting soft from all of the slides leaking. The moldings and trim seemed to be coming loose as time went on. Staples were beginning to come out of some of the trim moldings in the corners and the moldings on the ceiling. It's a shame because it truly was a nicely laid out camper with comfortable features and an abundance of space. In my opinion, this would be a good "destination camper" where it isn't moved much - that would reduce opportunities for leaks.

They didn’t include the toy lock and had to fight to finally get it sent to us. We had a leak and getting the run around. Now we found that no adhesive was placed on the roof and Robert with Coachman/Forest River was very rude from the get go. He said since it is older it would not be covered even with a 10 year roof warranty. We would need proof that we had it inspected ever 90 days. We will never purchase another camper made by them.

This rig has been a delight. Its quality is very good and the floor plan gives you all the luxury of a 40 footer in a highly manuverable 28 feet. The Chevy chassis is quiet and powerful with a superior ride quality and handling. We chose many options in designing the coach, including the front entertainment center and dual recliners. The cab is also optionally painted to match the rest of the coach, a deluxe feature. I have turned 87 and my days of motorhoming are coming to and end. This coach has had no pets or smokers, has always been privately garaged at my home and is very very clean with only 10,000 miles on the clock. Check it out!

Since we bought the new 2018 in July of 2019 we have had two exterior lamps relplaced. The ac quit the first year and it took dealer almost 4 months to repair because they could not figure out what was wrong with the dual ac thermostat. The oven glass top totally came apart. 5 of the six bolts that hold it together broke. The black tank valve stick open the second year and would not close. Imagine going home from camping trip with that issue. The wallpaper paper is coming of the walls in 8 different places the clear coat has totally faded on one side or there GRREAT AZDELL EXTERIOR. The water heater turns the back side of camper above black every time it comes on. Third year with camper we found a rotten spot on wall beside window where window appears to have been leaking for a whlile and just bought a new refrigerator. Everchill junk they put in these things quit and extended warranty would not replace entire fridge just parts to fix. The china parts are unavailable so I had to buy a new refrigerator. All this in first three years. DO NOT BUY CHAPARRAL OR ANY OTHER FOREST RIVET JUNK!!!
