This Navion has been well cared for, it is immaculate. My wife and I have taken 4 trips to Texas from California, to visit our grand children. The stove and the shower have never been used. We have had no pets in the coach. The quality of the Navion is built with our needs in mind. In the winter we are nice and cozy when driving across country, watching tv or sleeping. The air conditioning works fabulous even in Texas. summer stays cool inside the coach moving down the road or stopped for the day. The steel construction keeps it quiet inside and gives you a definite sense of safety.

Through the years we have put tires on it fixed a small roof leak ourselves and just recently put a new water pump in. But overall it was warm in the cold camping , cold in the hot camping & for the most part everything worked most of the time. Replaced AC after 3 years but overall we have a had a great time with this trailer!

I bought one of these with low miles from a dealer and have been camping full time for 5 months in it. It drives beautifully. The diesel engine is peppy and has never failed me. Steering is tight and the motorhome always feels like it's going right where I want it to go.
Storage is pretty well thought out and I'm still working out how to use it all.
Some oddities I have noticed:
The vehicle is actually a 2016 model, even though the Winnebago is a 2017 model.
There are fuses ALL over the place and they're hard to access.
My rear view camera went down recently and I discovered that they installed it without a user friendly removable connection. The cable out of the camera goes right into a hole in the rear wall of the motorhome. There's no connectors there. So in order to replace the camera, I need to either run my own cable or splice the tiny bare wires or install my own connectors.
Winnebago doesn't provide adequate information about certain things in the manual. I had to ask them what the roof was comprised of because I wanted to install an additional solar panel. The cable run for the rear view camera is a total mystery.
There's no spare tire, which may be normal for motorhomes, but I thought that was odd.

I like the floor plan, also like the style. But the company itself does not stand behind their product. Very poor workmanship no quality control. This could be a very nice motorhome. If they would put some quality behind it. For example, the interior fell apart in three years, the vinyl all delaminated. The floor structure on my unit was only spot welded. Someone forgot to go back and finish a welds before they installed the floor trusses, so the reinforcement struts all broke out of their spot Wells the structure cracked , compartments sagged, after that water gets pumped in from the tires if you’re driving in the rain. And Winnebago will not stand behind their screwup I would suggest finding a company with more pride in there coach. It’s a shame that a company that’s been around more than 50 years put out this poor quality of a product. I can’t imagine COMPANY) staying in business that way.

We purchased this unit brand new. We were looking at other models but we thought Winnebago had a much better quality so we paid almost $5,000 more thinking that we were going to get a better unit. A soft spot in the floor developed. So I researched it and found that that model between 2015 in 2019 had that issue. We brought our unit to a Winnebago dealer. They looked at the issue and said it was not from water leaking in. When we asked Winnebago what they could do for it they told us nothing. It is clearly a defect in the way it was built. They have fixed others on a good faith repair who were original owners. They said the warranty had lapsed. Now we're stuck with a $4,000 repair bill. When I called Winnebago to talk about it they brushed me off. They were going to always get back to me after each phone call and never did. Marquardt RV in Oregon Wisconsin lookrf the unit over and did their best to get Winnebago to fix the issue. Markquart RV was excellent to work with. This will be the last Winnebago we ever buy.

DO NOT BUY A WINNEBAGO PERIOD! Even our service center said “they do not build them like they used to”. We bought a brand new 2017 Winnebago Vista with a Forever Warranty and have meticulously maintained the coach every since. If I were not a handyman and former mechanic, this coach would be in the shop more than we’ve used it. The Forever Warranty is all but useless and Winnebago Customer Service is a joke. The last straw was when we nicked a picnic table while leaving a campground and the entire backwall almost tore off because it was rotted out from underneath because of wheel spray from faulty manufacturing. After numerous back and forth with them, the insulted our intelligence and offered to repair it for $4750 plus tax, IF we would drive 1200 miles one way to their factory. All our estimates were less than what they were offering. We had it fixed locally for $4200. They would NOT reimburse us! I would never recommend anyone buy a Winnebago product.

The seam between the roof and back wall has failed in allowing a considerable abount of water to run between the walls. There was no sign of a leak as the water was draining underneath and we only discovered the problem when one of the wall mounted lights quit working.
The dealer said that this is a common problem as did other dealers in our area. No dealer wanted to deal with it and Winnebago is not repsonding to my calls nor the on line contact form.
Indpendant repair shops have estimated the material cost to be in the range of $2,500 to $3000 with labour costs more than double that figure. We have quotes to do the job from $5,500 to $10,000 and we have to remove the trailer from the park and take it to a repair shop. This is a 2017 model and due to my wifes health we have no travelled with it . It is essentially used as a part model.
What should we do?

I have a 2017 Grand Tour. It’s my first Diesel pusher I have had several fifth wheels. This coach is a beautiful beast. It is well built and very comfortable. We changed out the mattress and made it very comfortable. My only complaint is the Matrix tv system. It’s a pain and I opted to just go with smart Tv and internet tv. Overall , it’s a great coach and I would buy it again.

Let's start with acknowledging that this was my very first RV and I had very limited driving experience and zero with owning an RV. I did my research and determine that the class A would be our best. We had just sold everything we owned and we were now going to be full time RVers. After looking at everything from fixer uppers to almost like new, we could easily see the quality difference in the Winnebago Vista LX. We looked at cabinets, door hinges, floor plan and ease of use. By far, it was the best.
We have now had our Vista for almost 3 years and still love it. Being in the automotive business all my life, we did some things right away. The RV only had 18,00 miles on it when we purchased it, but I put all new Koni shocks on and steer stabilizer. For a newbie, it drove great. I also had 3 part fuel injection service done (gas engine) and use Amsoil .
I do have an advantage over some owners. I'm mechanically inclined so prefer to fix things myself. I suspect that the major frustration owners have is dealing with the service dept. at any dealer. Competent mechanics are few and far between. I owned a shop for 1/2 my life and can fix most minor problems.
Overall we are thrilled with our Vista LX and for a small RV, it has one of the best floor plans we have seen.
