For a relatively small travel trailer, my family loved the versatility of the AR-One Extreme. We mostly used it in Colorado and Utah, often in dispersed camping locations (no hookups). The "Extreme" features of this AR-ONE mean the axel is lifted for better clearance on rough roads, and the underside is covered for protection from the elements and offered a bit more insulation on cold nights.
We used all its features, from the heater to air conditioner, and really loved the ability to switch the fridge from electric to gas. This allowed us to boondock for up to 4 days a at time as a family of 3 without running out of battery power (and no generator!).
The grey water tank is rather small, so we'd have to empty it out if we washed dishes in the sink, otherwise it was fine for weekend use.

Our 5th summer with the unit. Ideal size for a couple and a dog. The tip-out option provides enough room for all of us. The tip-out is rugged and continues to work without any problems along with the power awning. The electric tongue Jack is the best! The tires were initially filled with nitrogen and held between 57 and 63 psi for three years before we needed to add air. The tires are top grade steel belted radials and we’ve taken this unit to Florida and back. There’s about 10,000 travel miles on the camper now and the tires look barely worn. They ar holding up exceptionally well.
Shower is small however the bathroom is very functional. The water pump provides adequate pressure and is still working flawlessly. The refrigerator works well. It is a bit confusing at first with the gas, on/off electric and possible battery drain. Remember to turn the battery draw to the off position with switch located in the outside storage bin access under the bed.
Water heater is powerful and heats up the water very quickly. It does use around 10x the gas volume of the refrigerator (my estimation after using the unit for five years) but the hot water is worth the extra gas use.
Took out the manual ceiling skylight and had Camping World put in an electric unit with the auto close rain sensor. I won’t ever live without this feature on any future camper.
The heater heats up the interior space in about five minutes. The unit hold the heat in well.
The windows work well, slide easily and don’t stick. Cross ventilation is good. There is plenty of cupboard space.
The black and grey water tanks valve handles are easily accessible, have always sealed well, and the unit is easy to empty. The flush ring for the black water tank is priceless for moving all solids out of the septic holding tank.
Radio and CD player work well. Installed a 19” Furion LCD TV high on the wall at the foot of the bed that can be watched from the dinette or bed. The set up works well and should be offered as a standard option.
My four issues that give me heartburn. The bed fills the front from side to side and the person sleeping on the inside has to climb over the person sleeping on the outside. We accepted this fact as not a big deal when we bought it, but now after five years find it a bit of an issue.
The dinette is small and the seating uncomfortable. Can’t be used as a bed except for a child under 4’ 6” tall.
The propane tank is held on by two bolts with no tank cover. They should have made a tank cradle that the gas tank drops into and is secured with a wingnut metal band. A nice secure plastic housing would have also been nice.
The last thing is the stabilizing jacks. They are one leg extensions, flimsy, and can bend easily if the camper is not close to level upon extending these. It would be great to have a stronger scissor Jack option available or as standard equipment.
Would I buy it again. Most definitely I would. The towing is effortless with a 6 cyl Jeep Cherokee. The equalizer tow bar package keeps the rig sway free. No leaks in the unit and all the appliances continue to work well (knock on wood).

After 4 years is time to replace the awning but we live in windy Oklahoma and camp in Missouri. The layout is perfect for my wife and I and our 5 grandchildren. Plenty of room to walk around.
Happy with our purchase.

They both said they won't touch it either due to parts no longer available or they wouldn't because of the way the walls were built they can't fix it. After reaching out to Starcraft I got no response and highly don't recommend anyone to buy this brand since company will not stand behind their product.

I dont know where to start. Simply put I will neve buy another Starcraft again. The quality is horrible for the price. My unit is only 2 years old and I have my roof leaking hinges/latches come apart, ac unit only blow good air directly under it, air flow through the duck work to front bedroom is almost non-existent. Thermostat is completely useless and is horrible about maintaining set temp. Plumbing came apart twice under sink. Shower walls keep coming unfastened and they will not keep water in the drain basin. Barely any chalking around shower. Trim is nailed then the nails are covered with a similar color putty by someone using a finger. TV/radio antenna is worthless. Wifi extender is a joke and will barely pick up signal 20 feet away from the wifi source. Some Decals have been replaced once and the rest are literally starting to deteriorate to nothing while the new ones are right behind them. The black water tank meter is no longer working and I fully flush more than once every time I use the RV to ensure no debrisis blocking it. Steel wheels are starting to rust. Frame is starting to rust. Oh and the RV is covered while in storage. I have only trailered this unit maybe a 1000 miles total. The counter top and trim on the front of it are starting to separate. The stove will not light with the factory ignite. One of the open front shelving unit is starting to snag with the very little weight of a dish drainer and a box of plastic utensils. The vinyl on the folding coaches is wearing through because the frame of the coaches are rubbing on it when someone sits on them. The fully powered awning is leaking and deteriorating resulting in holes. I'm sure I'm missing something. All of this I brought to my dealer but was told these items are only covered for the first year. So needless to say I'm stuck with this. So as already stated I will not buy another Starcraft unit again and will certainly not be recommending them. One last thing this unit was bought new in 2018. It was a left over 2017. And now I know why it was a left over. Apparently everyone else saw the BS and chose not to listen to the sales guy. So for that I do take some blame.

We love our Launch 16rb ultralight camper. We have owned it for 3 years and have had no problems. My wife and I and occasionally one or two grandchildren have had so much fun in this camper. The heater is very powerful, and the air conditioner will freeze you. I have ran this camper on my 2500 watt generator with no problems. That's with the air conditioner on! The cabinets are made of solid wood, and the full dry bathroom is wonderful. I have no complaints and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
