2016 KZ reviews

Bought our spree in may 2016. and drove it to our lake lot 4 hrs away and parked it. It was wonderful for that summer. Camped the next summer and it got cool in the fall. So I turned on the furnace. No Heat! Took it back that fall and paid 5000.00 for them to cut open our undercarriage and fix the not yet connected duct pipes. 😡 Then they staple it back up and gave it back to us like that. This manufacturer isn’t capable of putting these trailers together.. Pulled my microwave out to fix that and found our radio remote. OMG! Don’t even get me started with the electrical! I Do Not recommend this brand and good luck to anyone who owns a spree Superlite! By KZ Can’t wait to get rid of this piece of JUNK! 😡🤬😤 Show less

Have enjoyed the trailer but the KZ customer service has been dismal. I ordered a new cargo latch and was sent a latch that was not a replacement but was newly designed. The latch did not come with a key nor instructions on how to install. I have made numerous inquiries concerning how the newly designed latch needs to be installed and received silence. Show less

have a problem with the front starting to have fiberglass starting to buckle. call them and dealer and no help. they said it was 5 years old and that is normal. the first year the outside fridge quit. will never buy any kz product ever!!!!!!!! Show less

It is a great unit. Ideally would like TV on driver's side of wall. Maybe next unit. Also would prefer toilet with side spray nozzle. Appreciate the good service from KZ as well as our Dealer in Clinton Mo. Wilder RV. Show less

Our camper has a leak at the awning that had NO silicone. It has been in for repair from December 2020 until now. Kz will not send parts for the repair. We are missing our camping season!! Is there no way to make them send parts???? Show less

We bought this unit new in 2016. The towability and floorplan are great. Had a few chippy problems that the factory warranty took care of in the first two years. This year, the furnace started blowing the floor up. Took it to the shop and they state that the wrong ductwork was installed from the factory causing a catastrophic failure of the entire duct system. They used plastic square ducting directly from the furnace which melted, causing a blockage and nearly a fire. KZ simply stated that because it was outside the warranty period, they would not "participate" in the repair. Poor quality control, poor install, improper materials. Buyer beware. Show less

We bought our 2016 KZ 250bhs brand new in 2016 and have used it a ton. The first we we did about 15 trips total and pulled it around 1000 miles or so.about the same in year 2 and 3. The camper pulles great with my 1500 ram. We have never had a single issue with this camper.. I mean none. From day 1 to today this camper has been hassle free. We back it in and it's set up within minutes. It has been a joy to own and camp in. Unfortunately we have outgrown it and will be upgrading. I will be sad to see it go. KZ seems to have built this unit very well! Show less

We love are Durango Gold. It’s been our full time RV for 4 years. It’s been a gem. My wife loves all the storage and I was so impressed with the outdoor garage. Have never had issues with pulling, pulls like an dream. I pull it with my Dodge Ram 3500. Had many adventures in it, it’s so perfect for full timing. Our lives have changed, otherwise we wouldn’t even think of selling it. Show less

Bad experience. Under designed. Cheap design to reduce cost. I have had 5 tire blowouts in 22,000 miles due to under engineering to reduce cost. 303RLS has 15" wheels which are not strong enough to support the weight of a fully loaded trailer. If they would have spent the extra $300 to fit 16" Class G tires to support this trailer, I would have been happy, but they didn't. I will be happy to sell it and buy a more reliable product. Don't let the low price fool you. You get what you pay for. Show less

This 5th Wheel has been good to us. It has very large living quarters...Very comfortable. It has a high profile..My husband is 6ft 3in. and he had no trouble at all with the height in any one of the rooms. It has 2 in out doors...one by the front kitchen, living, dining area and the other back by the bath, bedroom area...Love having the refrigerator stocked. We bring enough meat and Veggies, in the freezer that we don't have to buy any for 5 plus months. Had many compliments on it. Actually it is a beautiful home away from. with the electric awning over the carpet mat (9x18 ft) that will come with it, makes a nice extra living space...We have been gentle on her, we only went back and forth to Fl. with her and only used her 5 month each time the rest of the time she is parked on a cement pad in Ohio.
