The Winnebago manufactured Itasca Meridian 42E is a luxury Motorhome with what many owners think is the best floorplan ever made. Based on a solid Freightliner chassis with a remarkably smooth ride and handling. The beautiful Winnebago high quality cabinetry is the next thing that I noticed after being blown away by the L-shaped leather sofa, fireplace and leather lounger. I love the huge residential refrigerator and lower pull-out freezer. It held more than the one in my home! Winnebago's top 5 ranking in the industry is evident throughout the detailed design and features of this Motorhome.

I think the Itasca Meridian 42E is the best floorplan ever made for a class A. The layout is perfect for fulltime living or just occasional trips. The Freightliner chassis with the 450hp engine is a dream to drive which is why it is the chassis for do many Class A motorhomes. But the interior woodwork is beautiful and high quality. The three air conditioners do a great job of cooling in the Summer heat of Orlando.

Viewed this coach at the dealership. Many issues made us skeptical of buying . Front was severely worn requiring refinish. All slide-out rubber was worn and on a couple hanging loose. All tires need to be replaced. King bed not functional . Appears as though this coach was lived in with out normal maintenance. Salesman was unaware of location of house batteries and we did not see them. These issues were obvious may be more with closer look.

Winnebago/Itasca makes one high quality RV! This model has a bath & 1/2 floor plan that makes traveling and camping highly liveable for 2 to 8 people. The dual slides provide awesome floor space when parked. The electrical management system automatically adjusts so you can use both AC units when camped at 30 Amp only sites. Amazing amount of storage bins underneath. Highway driving this unit is a breeze even towing a full size Jeep Wrangler. No mechanical or couch issues with this RV in 3 years of ownership!

Very poor quality. Emphasis on speed at time of manufacturing not quality. Windows fog up between panes. 2 replaced and 1 on order. Cracked drawer front, cracked grab handle, door that wouldn't shut, led lights that burn out, leak in ice maker, HDMI splitter that quit, broken gear on full wall slide 3 times, trim not nailed, drawers that won't stay shut going down road, shower door roller broke, door awning that quit retracting, front shade that wouldn't go down, misaligned compartment doors, window trim board that fell down, ice maker leaked, refrigerator door catch that opened going down road. Good thing for a great dealer making repairs. Go to Deans RV Tulsa.

Ordered from dealership in February and took possession in May 2015. On my first outing on the fifth night the AC broke in Phoenix Arizona. Took it to dealer for repair. Major failure on AC. Winnebago was contacted and stated it was a Coleman problem. Coleman stated I had to wait for them to ship a new unit even though there was one available in Phoenix. Coleman did not expedite the shipment. Nine days later it arrived damaged and Coleman stated I had to wait for another replacement. Winnebago finally did something and approved the getting the AC unit in Phoenix. I had spent Nine nights in a Hotel because the temperature was 115 degrees. The AC/Heat pump has failed two more times since. The refrigerator has failed three times for various reasons. This unit has been in the shop over 12 weeks in the year I have owned it. It is in the shop again. I purchase what I thought was the top of the line model, not a cheap manufactured unit. I am truly disappointed. Every time it is used something breaks.

Had multiple problems out of the shoot. Have about 800 miles on the new rig cabinet handles were mis aligned and broken. Had to pay the dealer to repair. Water leak from faucet. Dealer will not repair. Door covering water heater (outside) does not fit properly. Wrong size screw. Dealer said all Winnebego products have bad doors over this compartment. He even showed me a few. He's right. I bought a Winnebego product hoping for quality. I am very disappointed with the vehicle and the dealer. Note I have has class c motor homes for 30 years. Also I am quite offended that the warranty does not include labor. Never heard of such a thing. They make me pay for their poor workmanship
