Bought this used with only 14000 miles on it. Propane line to the fridge caught fire while getting ready to go on our first trip. Was in the shop just short of 2 years to get fixed. (couldn't get parts). Have had to replace the windshield wiper pump, windshield, house batteries, Radio/backup and side view mirror monitor, the entire door locking mechanism. Now we see why the original owner got rid of it. This is just a money pit and I would not recommend it to anyone. Show less

Motoring across America has been a great experience traveling in this high performance coach. 450 horses, 1250 pounds of torque and two-stage Jakob brakes smoothly and powerfully navigate the steepest paths while easily towing a heavy vehicle. The 60 degree wheel cut means you don’t need 90 acres to turn around. The 44,600 GVWR weight means safe traveling in most winds. Aqua Hot, 10KW Onan generator, 3 roof Acs mean you can stay comfortable in all types of weather and climate. 3 slides (one huge) means you have room for all your important stuff. This has been our home on wheels for a decade as we motored across America seeing the sights. We are only selling because we are moving to Costa Rica. Powerful and smooth on the road. Spacious and comfortable parked. Lots of extras--a pleasure to live in. Here is a short video of a 2015 Tuscany 45AT shot in 2015 that will give you a good feel of the coach. Life seems to always change our plans and this decision is no different. Due to some serious health issues we have decided to sell one of our long time goals of owning a beautiful coach and traveling this country. We have been fortunate to be able to utilize it the last three years but currently and for the foreseeable future it will be sitting and unused. Time for us to move forward. This coach has been extremely good to us with no major problems. It's built well and absolutely taken care of. We have tried to list all of the features but sure some have been missed. We will also have available numerous camping supplies included as part of the purchase if the buyer would like them. This includes a Blue Ox towing system, a patriot braking system just to name a couple items. This coach/motorhome had been great. It has been very dependable. Some people may of had an issue with theirs, blaming Thor. Thor uses the same products as other RV Companies. When we had a minor issue, we called that company brand to get resolved. Show less

My wife and I recently spent a couple days going through Newell Coach 1518. Every inch of this custom coach is flawless, absolutely no money spared in designing and building this Newell, timeless elegance! Not good timing for us, but whoever gets this coach won the lottery! Show less

Has any one paid extra for the entire exterior to have the added protective shine added? Our unit lost it's sheen after the first year and there is nothing but a dull finish. Has any one else had this issue? And if so, how was it handled? Show less

We bought our Thor four winds in 2018 and lived in it full time for a little over two years and now use it recreationally. We have had overall great experiences with this RV and very few problems. That isn't too say there haven't been some problems, but they have been minor and easily resolved. But what prompted me to write this review is Thor's fantastic customer service. Today I called to order parts that needed replaced as they have worn down, and Thor sent them to me without charging me a penny. The motor home isn't under any warranty or anything, but they just sent replacement parts for free, no questions asked. I feel like quality customer service is such a rarity, I have to praise it when I experience it. I'd buy a Thor motor home again. Show less

Junk, Junk,Junk!!! My wife and I bought this in November 2021 from the original owners with only 14,000 miles on it in excellent condition. However. Something breaks on it almost on a daily basis and we have been living in it since we bought it. Only driving it from Colorado to Florida permanently. That’s the only driving we’ve done with it. There is such a large list of things that have gone wrong with it (and we have been babying it) that I warn you. Do Not Buy a Thor Challenger series. This thing is so poorly built that we can’t even keep up with things that keep simply just fall apart on it due to the junky build and quality of the materials used. I watched a video of this exact model where a Thor representative states this is their top of the line model. WOW!!! Show less

Love the mileage and the comfortable ride! Interior is attractive and conveniently arranged. Great storage inside and out--even can stow my mobility scooter (in four parts) in the outside bays and still have room for folding chairs, a table, a rug, and tools! The only downside for us is that the step to the bedroom and the step to get into bed have become difficult to negotiate as my handicap has gotten worse. Have had it for four years and have had no problems other than the steps, which wouldn't bother someone who doesn't have mobilty issues--no need for repairs or contact with factory support. Show less
