This is our first rv. My husband researched brands and Lance quickly rose to the top of the list. We looked at new models and were so impressed with the quality compared to other brands. As new RVr,s, we knew we didn’t want to spend above a certain amount. We happened to see a used Lance on Facebook in our area and decided to take a look. Obviously we bought it.. There was a learning curve on our part but I have to say that we’ve really had no regrets with this purchase. We have no input as to warranty since we bought used, but Lance does have a very good online support group. We have not had to make any major repairs
Since we are inexperienced with cross county rv travel, we are currently researching the purchase of a smaller unit. We love the layout, storage and design of the 1475S (my husband would like to see it with a dual axel) OR the 1685 with a 7 foot width😊
The main things I love about it: it’s just got a cozy feel without being too small. The floor space is very well thought out and the dinette is so roomy. The storage space is crazy…so much! I’ve been in bigger travel trailers that don’t have half as much storage space. Outlets and lights are plentiful I love having the option of a fold up bed for more floor space or to have seating space without having to sit on the bed.
The Lance is solid…..no flimsy walls minimal bounce when you walk around.
Things I’d like to see…the front window opens (available on newer models).
A dual axel on one of the 7 foot wide models.
Steps that go to the ground
More kitchen counter space (or an extension that folds up and down)
Maybe in a few more years I’ll have a bigger wish list, but for now that’s it😀

Lance is expensive but quality is high. Seven years and no major issues. Gave livability low mark BUT its a 19 ft camper for long weekends. Awesome camper for what it was purchased for. I want a fifth wheel for more livability and these reviews are important in my decision making so thats the reason for this review. Thumbs up for Lance.

We bought a Lance trailer after having Lance campers. We have had many problems from the beginning. Faulty plastic connector for the bathroom lights, pinched water line in the assembly of the trailer, wiring problem again with the heating and AC unit, faulty outside light which we had to buy a new one, outside kitchen door--all the screws pulled out of the side of the gas shocks, latch on the bed was not in alignment, had to relocate the hardware stops on the television so that it would rotate properly. The biggest problem was the slide out as the lamination was literally falling apart underneath where the rollers are positioned. This cost me $300.00 to repair. I had to replace the heating and AC unit and thermostat and that cost $900.00. Last weekend, we had a water leak coming from under our bathroom vanity. The entire vanity has to come out to get to the leak. Luckily, a friend of mine is going to help me repair this so that I don't have to pay at least $300.00 for this repair. This trailer is not old and we have experienced so many problems. I wrote a long letter to Lance about the problems and didn't get a reply at all. They are not taking care of their customers!! I would never buy a Lance product again!

This was our first RV. We jumped straight from tent camping for years to a very nice trailer.
Overall, with a lot of research we have our unit setup very well with everything we need. There have been great resources for us newbies out on the web. We prefer to camp more primitively or in national forest campgrounds so we don't need hook-ups etc. but it is nice when traveling out of state in unfamiliar areas.
We have only had a minor warranty issue with the external propane connectors on the trailer. The dealer did an excellent job of taking care of the problem and no other issues to report so far.
The rooftop solar keeps the batteries well charged.
