Buyer beware! Condensation within the walls without any visible signs . My Octane has never shown any condensation issues, not in the cabinets or living areas. I’ve always kept the unit well vented when in storage and under a RV carport. Your RV may be rotting away and you don’t even know it! My Octane is an excellent example of poor craftsmanship and no pride in one’s work! It took just seven year for the front eight feet to rot away from the inside out. I would have not known except that my Octane split open driving down the highway. The entire passenger side front corner opened up nearly the entire length while we were heading to a rally. At highway speeds it took just seconds to start peeling back and away. After opening up the walls I discovered massive gaps with no insulation and the AC duct-work taps so poorly cut that half the air was being pumped into the roof and walls! The three roof vents were open behind the trim pieces. So every time we ran the AC we were pumping moisture into the walls and roof. This was so bad that the aluminum floor framing has rotted away, yes aluminum 1 1/2 square tubing totally dissolved in seven years! There was no vapor barrier between the outer aluminum siding and the inside walls. This creates continuous condensation every time there is a temperature variation. Forget about the warranty or your RV insurance, you are on your own for the repairs on this type of damage. Dealer estimate for the repairs? Just shy of $16,000 for repairs! Like I would let any dealer repair it back to factory specs!! I’ve repaired the unit myself for less than 3K. I used closed cell insulation, treated lumber, vapor barriers, Kreg joints, exterior rated glues and highly elastic polymer caulk and sealants. Built the way you would expect to find in one of these expensive toys. So look before you buy and definitely check if you own. Not all RV Condensation can be seen! Show less

I bought my travel trailer in January of 2015 it was sold as used but the previous owners did one trip and traded it in for a RV. This has been a awesome trailer for a smaller trailer. Because of the Murphy bed we have a full bath all the way across the back of the trailer. At the time my mom was in her 90's and still loved to camp and she could get all around the camper and in the bathroom with her walker. It has a slide out dining area. I was very surprised at some of the bad reviews. My camper has been about a third of USA and we have had very little issues and most of them are this year. My only complaint and it may not be the company but where we bought it as the warranty should have been carried over as the other people had it only for 1 trip. I was told I had to buy a warranty for 2500.00 which I really never used. Show less

I bought this 2014 year-model in 2017 used from a non-Jayco dealer. My previous experience was with pop-up tent trailers. My wife requested that I upgrade to have HVAC and a bathroom. When my SUV died and I bought a Tundra V-8, I anticipated pulling a travel trailer, not a 5th wheel. So, when I decided I would rather have a 5th wheel, my research led me to this Jayco model as one of a few that the Tundra, equipped with a sliding hitch, was rated to handle, even when fully loaded. It is a good pairing; and I once had the occasion to pass a slower moving truck at 75 MPH as I neared the top of a long, steep, climb over a mountain, without the Tundra over-working. Especially given the light-weight construction of the Eagle HT26.5RLS, it has been very durable and is in pretty good shape after being driven about 3,500 miles on a total of 18 trips including 113 nights over the six years we have had it since buying it used. I love the floor plan, which speaks for itself. This is ideal for taking a long weekend or a week at time with my wife, but if I intended to travel with kids and/or take a longer trip of mostly one-night stops, I would choose a different model with more space and/or automatic levelling. The floorplan speaks for itself and is a matter of personal opinion, but I wouldn’t change a thing. We often remove one of the recliner chairs and leave it at home to create more room. As for rating the manufacturer, it was out of warranty when I bought it, but Jayco corporate was easy to deal with and helpful on things such as getting detailed wiring diagrams and ordering parts. I have absolutely no regrets, which is rare for RV owners! Show less

Great RV- Have owned since 2015. Very comfortable, would buy again. Selling due to downsizing (kids out of the house), would absolutely recommend to those wanting to travel regionally, weekend camping, etc. Show less

I had the pleasure of owning this camper for just under 2 years. In the time, we used it about 30 times. This was my first time owning an RV, so I didn't know what to expect. We selected this particular camper because 1) Jayco had one of the best reputations for quality and 2) it had enough room for our family of four and 3) it could be towed by our Toyota Highlander. We were the 2nd owner of it when we purchased it in 2020 and since then we haven't had to do much to it except the usual maintenance and replace a few things that were my fault. Compared to what I read about other campers this one had been a great considering its age. The set up inside is great. It has bunk beds which my kids love and the table area folds down to a double bed for my wife and I. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your trip and its also nice it has a full bath. As for towing, it was a breeze. We added a weight distribution hitch system and installed a brake control for adding safety. It was always a joy pulling this camper all around Texas visiting state parks. Show less

I lived in this RV comfortably with my family of 8 for over four months, and we traveled over 8000 miles. All systems worked great, and it has a surprising amount of storage. Handles well on the highway once you get used to the wind resistance created by passing semis. Show less

We have owned this RV for 7:years and we love it. Plenty of storage space, plenty of beds for our kids and pets. Light weight to tow and the perfect size for any campground spot. We never had to worry if we would fit or not. Nothing majorly ever broke. It’s the prefect starter camper for any family or for someone who needs lots of beds. Show less

We purchased this sweet little coach from a General RV in Murray, Utah in 2018. We love the floor plan and how easy it is to drive and set up. Travel is very quiet except when the F10 Ford engine goes into overdrive. Three slides with two opposing provides open space for comfortable living. Tons of exterior and interior space. We replaced the uncomfortable sofa bed with two leather power recliners from RecPro. On the down side. The cab a/c isn't powerful enough to cool the coach during travel, however we run one roof top a/c with cool comfort and no issues. If you are looking for a smaller coach with a spacious feel this is the one. We have put some 21000 miles on our Jayco. Still love it. Show less

From the owner: This would be a great buy for full timers or frequent travelers! Comfort is as great or better than your home. It's big. There are some bigger, but it is big. If you move every day, it could be tire-some, especially for older owners, like we are. We have a great truck that pulls this 5th wheel easily, and the set up is as easy as you can find - 6 point auto leveling, easily manipulated connections, and lots of user friendly attributes. Two air conditioners, ceiling fan, remotes for slides so you can walk around the rig while setting it up, fireplace that will give you instant heat, but also provide a comfortable ambiance. We've loved it and have taken exceptional care of it. The paint is slightly faded on the very front, but the rest looks like new and all the inside is as newly purchased. Storage was much more than we needed or even used, in the Basement and inside the rv. Reason for selling is that we are just not travelling as much as we thought we would and when we do, we've generally moved every day, which makes more road time and less time just enjoying the RV. It's too big to park in someone's driveway and visiting family is our major reason for traveling. We opted to switch to a Class B+ for this reason but loved and still do love our 5th wheel. Show less
