Downsizing from a Country Coach Magna we chose a Phoenix Cruiser 2910T which is a high end triple slide specially designed for RV’s downsizing from larger Class A’s. With a low profile, aerodynamic design they are a breeze to drive with no sway or tail wagging allowing the driver not to get fatigued. Built on a Ford E450 Super Duty chassis powered by economical 6.8L V10 there is plenty of power to tow our 4800# Jeep Unlimited. Due to the Coach design fuel efficiency is all depending on how it’s driven. Without towing we were able to achieve 12 mpg, towing a heavy Jeep at 70mph we get 8mpg. Motorhome Magazine reviewed the 2910T and stated “0-60 in just 21 seconds” which I believe is real. The construction is superior to most other similar RV’s. The design of the 2910T is such that you can access all cabinets without the slides open. This is great while traveling even so if you want to stop for a quick overnight you don’t have to open the slides which is nice. Fit and finish is really good. Abundant cabinets afford plenty of storage which is needed if making a cross country trip. Phoenix Cruiser is proud of their products and there are numerous videos on YouTube on the construction and design. In the years that we owned a 2910T the only fault was the interior upholstery which wasn’t the manufacturer. Some furniture makers in the 2000’s were sold inferior ultra leather which deteriorated over time and ended up in a lot of manufacturers RV’s. It can be costly to replace so if you see an RV with flaking be prepared to replace the upholstery.

We have a 2013 Redwood 36fl fifth wheel. We've thoroughly enjoyed camping and traveling in this fifth wheel. It's a residential living camper. We are not full timers, just traveled occasionally in it. It would be great for someone wanting to full time in. It's spacious and very comfortable, like home. We've maintained any problems that arose, which do in all RV vehicles. After all, it is a rolling earthquake, depending on the highways you travel on. It's like our vehicles or our bodies.... when something breaks or deteriorates, you fix it or go to the doctor. It's like anything, maintain it and it will serve you well. We've never had problems with leaking or floors weakening. Keep it under a shed and she will serve you a long time. Ours is like new because we take care of it. We have no complaints. Warranty work was honored and serviced well. We do believe that 2013 was one of the better years to have a Redwood built. The quality is pristine. And the front living room makes it so cozy and feel like home away from home.

We have had this RV for 6 years. Multiple trips and recently have been living in it for past 6 months. Overall it is built pretty well. We had a leak on the slide out which made the floor soft. Replaced the floor and while we were at it got rid of the carpet that was in it. It also had a small leak under the bathroom sink and outdoor shower. I feel like any camper is going to leak though. No roof leaks so far though which is always a plus. It is very livable though and I can't complain too much about it. Would definitely recommend.

This was to be our adult teailer, kids all grown up. Had the best layout for its size, most storage, nicest interior/exterior etc. But.....We should have researched a little more before purchase, indeed we thought premium price-premium quality. Wrong,we did buy this as a brand new unit, extremely pleased with initial quality. Then the nightmare started, the "quality"or lack thereof started to show through. First week, main power supply blew out,of course we're 800 miles away from the dealer. Funny how everything works fine for a few days then BOOM,literally. Couldn't go back to dealer, sent us to another dealership for warranty. Basically told us they don't do warranty on units THEY didn't sell. Wasted a day sorting out all this crap, I knew it was the main power converter, argued with me,said they would look into it. Ya right, they instead helped themselves to our brand new U.S.Batteries

We purchased our motorhome in 2015, as a pre-owned from the first owners who had custom ordered it. This is our first RV. Nexus RV started as a direct to consumer manufacturer that utilized unstaffed, centralized show rooms in a few parts of the country to 'sell' their RVs. Nexus was a low volume, high quality manufacturer and I liked this. This RV has given us very few problems. Everything about this RV seems to be well made, with quality components. All RV manufacturers have the option to use different components and materials of varying quality and cost should be higher with high quality, low defect components. Nexus chose to use high quality materials, like the Adzel wall panels, which are strong and water resistant. The roof is a fiberglass sheet similar to what I've seen used inside refrigerated semi trailers. No leaks. The full body paint job is great. It was sealed with something that almost makes it unnecessary to wash it. If we had kept it under a roof like the first owner did, cleaning it would be infrequent. The chassis is the Ford E-450 Super Duty which is a commercial grade, utility chassis. It does the job but could be improved with some suspension modifications, self installed for a few hundred dollars. If I was sure we would keep this RV for another 10 years, there's a company that makes ambulance suspensions that cost around $10K or $12K.
