Our Eagle was a complete Home Run for our family. We have used the camper for 100 trips in 10 years. The outdoor kitchen is amazing and I used it on every trip, I live in Colorado and purchased it new from a dealer. It is still in great shape and as our children grew we loved the features of the bunk house and the kitchen with the pantry island gave us enough storage for all our meal even when we went for extended trips to Yellowstone or North Dakota. This trailer has held up wonderfully and is still is excellent condition. We have maintained it well and have done very few repairs. It has held up great even though we got this when our kids were very young. We spent all our weekends out in the mountains or at dog shows all around the western US.
I really don't have an idea of the miles I have pulled this but it pulled great all the time and I believe we are on our 3rd set of tires. Probably close to 40000 miles.
I would tell you that Jayco puts together a very reliable comfortable and beautiful camper, if your looking at an Eagle the quality is unequaled.

Reliable, solidly built, very comfortable, can live in it due to all the living/walking space, storage space, and built-in conveniences. We bought it because wanted separate bedrooms in order to convert 2nd bedroom to a private home office which would still allow office to be used as a guest room when needed. We had absolutely no mechanical issues with this trailer and very happy with it. My wife loved the large sized kitchen, large fridge with separate freezer and the 3 burner stove with oven with plenty of countertop for cooking. She said it was like a kitchen at home! She also loved the outdoor kitchen to cook outside which also has space and electric to add a 2nd mini fridge! She also loved that the bathroom was attached to our master bedroom to make the night-time trips to toilet easy. Yet, the bathroom had a second door allowing access from rest of trailer too so you would not have to go through our bedroom to get to the bathroom.
We are both neat-freaks and were very happy to have an outdoor shower to wash ourselves off (like sand or dirt from our day's adventures) and other personal items before tracking the dirt into the trailer. We set up an outdoor shower tent at the RV's outdoor shower to make it possible to even shower completely with privacy before going inside trailer! If we had a dog, the outside shower would have been perfect to keep the dog clean too.
The awning is huge! Side panels could easily be added, attached and removable to give privacy and protection from insects giving tons of space under the awning to enjoy the outdoors. I really enjoyed the convenience of the hitch and jacks all being electric and automatically levelling. Cut my camp set-up time to almost effortless!

This is our 3rd jayco eagle. Although the layout is what we wanted it comes with issues. For example, seeking warranty repairs. Local jayco dealer wouldn't touch it because we didn't buy it from him. We bought at show. Little did we know you have to return to seller for repairs, over 100 miles away verses 5 miles away. Experienced tire fails from cheep China bombs, ac leeks, roof damage, gel coat paint failure on front cowling, stabilizer arms break and bend with minimal load, floor creeks in two areas, barrel fan replaced in forced hot air unit, broke due to construction debri entering fan area, faucet handles fall off, cheep China junk, new thermostat installed, capacitors replaced on A/C, tires replaced, still had 8/32 tread after 3 yrs. List goes on... So my advice to a new buyer, yes, they all look nice when new. But buyer beware all this happened within 2-3 yrs of ownership. They are hardly worth the investment for entertainment. Be prepared to spend your free time fixing this stuff that comes off the assembly line with no pride or quality assurance checks. Our usage of unit is low to moderate. Only catering to two campgrounds within 100 miles from home mostly on no tow programs. Enjoy while you can. Repairs never end

We found this trailer to be very comfortable for trips of up to 4 weeks. In the 4th week we began to wish we had recliners for the evenings. Among our trips were two 5-week trips that included having a second couple staying with us for 10 days. We were all comfortable, although our 6' 2" guest felt claustrophobic in the shower.
We added a plastic medicine cabinet ("contractor's model") to the bathroom, and that satisfied our storage needs.
Things we appreciated:
- mattresses were comfortable
- we slept on the table bed in bear country where we couldn't put out the canvass covered beds
- lots of cupboard space and storage inside
- microwave, stove, oven, water heater, TV, fridge worked well
- bathroom was roomy for this size of trailer
- back bed felt more private and like a separate room because it was half behind the bathroom.
- DVD player and stereo/radio
- dinette was comfortable
- light enough to pull with a small SUV (e.g. Ford Escape)
- pulled very smoothly with a weight distribution and anti-sway hitch
- small enough to fit in nearly all camping sites
- queen sheets fit the mattresses (our previous trailer had an odd-sized mattress)
- nice large awning
- we bought it used and didn't have a warranty, but I was impressed that Jayco emailed me schematics for the walls (we wanted to screw a medicine cabinet to a stud)
- electric plugs above the beds for small light/fans that hook onto the bars supporting the canvass
- outlet at each bed, kitchen, outside, and 2 at the table
Things we wished were different:
- replaced air conditioner at 5-years old
- not one drawer, so kitchen tools and silverware had to be kept in caddies and moved between cupboards for travel and the counter tops for living
- small counter area in kitchen and bath
- no medicine cabinet, so inconvenient for storing toothbrushes, toothpaste, meds, lotions, etc
- difficult to open door to under-sofa storage
- small hatch door on outside
- stove fan was so loud we hated to use it
- smoke detector goes off whenever we cooked unless we had the fan on
- dinette was narrower (benches were closer together) than our old tent trailer and we noticed the difference in leg room, especially with 4 adults sitting there.
- we replaced all the lights with LEDs
- camping on the Oregon coast in heavy winter rain/hail caused the humidity to condense on the canvass and rain on the beds. Normal NW humidity and winter weather was ok.

What ever could be crooked on this trailer is.
Valances are all crooked around the windows. Caulking is squished out around all of the trim. The ladder is even mounted crooked.
I spent 2 hours on my back underneath the thing just tying up wires and hoses that were just strung over whatever was there and left to chafe on whatever sharp edge there was.
Cheap materials used in everything. The pump for the water was left hanging against the wall under the sink to vibrate the entire wall when it runs. No pipe holes were filled so that mice get in the trailer.
No thought whatsoever was put into where to locate switches and plugs. Every single plug in the entire trailer is on one breaker.
Bolts in the slides stick down far enough to chafe on the side of the trailer. Plumbing is not secured so it won't break.
Wires run around the battery were just tied in a ball instead of being tied up properly to look right.
The frame is barely painted, so needed to be undercoated to keep it from rusting.
The drains for the tanks are so flimsy that they are breaking off.
The sides are tied with flimsy metal strips that are crooked.
How can a manufacturer turn out such garbage? Do you not take any pride whatsoever in your product?
Does anyone even work in quality control?
Do the people working in the factory even own measuring tapes?
You throw together a bunch of shoddy work and then charge big money for it.
Shame on you

Canvas is very sturdy, good storage for the size campers we've had and though a tad on the heavier side, its a great buy. We like that the exterior is made of fiberglass vs aluminum. We've been in some pretty crazy rainstorms with this camper and have had no danage or leaking.
Only downside I can think of is the small shower. Really not useable if you are older than 7. But, having the sink and toilet are great. The beds are nice and roomy. Sleeping areas feel nice and big, not cramped or crowded.
Would definitely purchase another Jayco!

I have never seen such a lack of pride from a manufacturer. It's like the people at the factory don't own a measuring tape. Curtains on the wall crooked. Cabinets crooked. Every sticker on the entire trailer is put on crooked. Do these workers have no pride whatsoever in what they do? The design is very nice but the quality? The bathroom cabinet was mounted hanging below the cabinet so they didn't have to bother putting a handle on it. Cabinet doors crooked. Someone needs to tell these guys that people pay crazy prices for poor quality tin boxes in the first place. The least they can do is put them together straight.
