We have driven the Greyhawk 31DS for about ten years and continue to do so. It has served us extremely well. The Greyhawk sleeps eight. We used sleeping accommodations for two to four most of the time. It was very comfortable. The kitchen area was spacious and amenities worked well. The original tankless water heater was replaced as the original version was flawed. The full bath was well laid out with a shower that accommodates a very tall person. The two slide-outs created a very livable floor plan. The F450 V-10 engine continues to run like new. The transmission is simply wonderful. We towed a Wrangler Jeep on most of our trips with absolutely no issues or problems. The cabinetry and upholstery held up well, but has signs of use. Overall the aesthetics held up very well. If you find one that has been well maintained, buy it.

Our Eagle was a complete Home Run for our family. We have used the camper for 100 trips in 10 years. The outdoor kitchen is amazing and I used it on every trip, I live in Colorado and purchased it new from a dealer. It is still in great shape and as our children grew we loved the features of the bunk house and the kitchen with the pantry island gave us enough storage for all our meal even when we went for extended trips to Yellowstone or North Dakota. This trailer has held up wonderfully and is still is excellent condition. We have maintained it well and have done very few repairs. It has held up great even though we got this when our kids were very young. We spent all our weekends out in the mountains or at dog shows all around the western US. I really don't have an idea of the miles I have pulled this but it pulled great all the time and I believe we are on our 3rd set of tires. Probably close to 40000 miles. I would tell you that Jayco puts together a very reliable comfortable and beautiful camper, if your looking at an Eagle the quality is unequaled. Buy it!

I recommend the Jayco Melbourne 29D for those looking for a higher quality RV with nice features for traveling and camping. The RV also has a Jayco Melbourne 29D owners Club on facebook with over 120 members. This is nice for troubleshooting and general questions. Some models do not have a strong Facebook group support. The 29D is maneuverable compared to other Class C rvs, holds the road well, and has a smooth ride as it is not a massive "boxy" overly tall rv. It tows well with a jeep wrangler behind it. The layout is great for a couple or those with 1-2 kids. When the slides are closed you have access to almost all of the features of the rv with the exception of the undersink storage cabinet and drawers. The 29D is the previous body style before the Melbourne changed to a class C/B Sprinter ish style. Honesly the 29D is a great layout and great ride. Jayco made a decent product during and we have had very few issues with the RV. The most common negative trend with this rv is the leatherette seats don't hold up well and over time they need to be reupholstered. This is the case for the couch, dinette seats, and driver and passenger seats. However this can be overcome with a simple cover or reupholster. The spare table in the rv is great for creating additional workspace or dining space. Overall the rv is a great choice for anyone looking to have comfort while traveling or wants a dependable RV with limited maintenance compared to other styles. The fiberglass roof and body paint make maintenance a breeze compared to other methods of construction.

When we initially went shopping for a new rv we didn't plan to buy the top of the line Pinnacle but talked ourselves into spending the high price expecting to get quality, convenience and comfort from it. We initially felt that it had those features but when we started out on our one year break from the work world to explore North America, the trailer started to show its real self. Within the first few thousand kilometers tire wear resulted from soft springs, the generator had problems, the leveling system had been wired incorrectly at the factory and didn't work right which left us temporarily stranded at one or two campsites. We had problems with the slides. We were driving down the freeway and the power awning rolled itself out in traffic causing quite a stir. On another occasion one set of springs fanned out and the body dropped allowing the inner fender to drag on on the tires. We were on a freeway and thought there was a fire, based on the smoke that bellowed out of the wheel housing. I risked my life getting out of the truck to investigate with traffic zooming past me. We spent a lot of time at a couple of dealerships in the southern USA getting things fixed. One example of the lack of quality at a dealership was that, after they replaced an axle assembly, the u-bolt nuts were stripped leaving those bolts loose. We ultimately took the unit back to the Jayco factory in Indiana where they fixed eveything on our list. We are done with problems now? Not on your life. This last summer we identified bubbling of the wall paneling which indicated water damage. We took it to a private trailer repair shop and they discovered that water had been finding its way under the roof membrane as a result of what appears to be incorrectly installed roof coverage materials. We believe that the leakage has been going on for years and has resulted in a complete deterioration of a portion of the plywood roof sheeting. The repair will cost us over $14,000 and Jayco will not consider taking any responsibility for this error. We sent them pictures and they insist that there are cracks in the silicone on the roof seams even though the repair technician says otherwise. They tell us that they don't cover roof damage and refuse to acknowledge that they are in any way responsible for this problem. We are looking at the actual problem with the experienced eye of a repair technician but yet they won't even consider that they might be at fault. I have asked for diagrams of how the roof covering should be installed so that I can see if they have done it according to their plan but they have failed to provide me with it. Sounds like they have something to hide. Though we initially thought we were buying quality we now see that the quality is questionable and the the support is horrible. I will never buy another Jayco product....ever!

Reliable, solidly built, very comfortable, can live in it due to all the living/walking space, storage space, and built-in conveniences. We bought it because wanted separate bedrooms in order to convert 2nd bedroom to a private home office which would still allow office to be used as a guest room when needed. We had absolutely no mechanical issues with this trailer and very happy with it. My wife loved the large sized kitchen, large fridge with separate freezer and the 3 burner stove with oven with plenty of countertop for cooking. She said it was like a kitchen at home! She also loved the outdoor kitchen to cook outside which also has space and electric to add a 2nd mini fridge! She also loved that the bathroom was attached to our master bedroom to make the night-time trips to toilet easy. Yet, the bathroom had a second door allowing access from rest of trailer too so you would not have to go through our bedroom to get to the bathroom. We are both neat-freaks and were very happy to have an outdoor shower to wash ourselves off (like sand or dirt from our day's adventures) and other personal items before tracking the dirt into the trailer. We set up an outdoor shower tent at the RV's outdoor shower to make it possible to even shower completely with privacy before going inside trailer! If we had a dog, the outside shower would have been perfect to keep the dog clean too. The awning is huge! Side panels could easily be added, attached and removable to give privacy and protection from insects giving tons of space under the awning to enjoy the outdoors. I really enjoyed the convenience of the hitch and jacks all being electric and automatically levelling. Cut my camp set-up time to almost effortless!

I have enjoyed camping in it and I did not plan on selling it. This is why it has new tires, and a new $1500.00 Pin Box. The generator is more than the trailer needs. It has less than 100 hrs on it and always worked when I needed it. The bed is a King Size Bed. The Couch also pulls out to make a double size bed. All the interior is in perfect condition. No rips, tears or signs of wear. The trailer pulls great with the new pin box. No chucking.
