We have owned this RV since new and the 1st thing I had to do was mouse proof it by spraying foam in the opening underneath and then had to add a door in the storage area to get access to the water pump. When I cut to add a door I saw just how well hidden the poor workmanship was as saw dust left behind and hacked out hole on most of the places where line past through. Knowing the steep asking price you would think they would pay a little more wage to hire a staff that cares. Never did talk to the factory about warranty just had to go back the dealer for a manual back-up front jack access hole and to replace the sound system that the speaker never did work right or sound good as far as clarity. From my experience and reading reviews on the workmanship of the cougars and although the floor plans did almost sell us we decided to stay away from them. Lyle

My wife and I have loved our experience with our Visa travel trailer. It has so many comforts of home that it felt like an extension of our home. Exterior speakers and gas grill made for many great camping experiences. The heat is robust and allowed us to use it most of the year. I've pulled it with my Chevy Silverado 1500 with no problem.

This was our first foray into buying a travel trailer. We loved the layout and really enjoyed outdoor kitchen. Overall we have had great times with it, but there are some things that make me question the overall quality of the trailer. From changing the thremostat to the roof vent simply disintegrating, the bathroom door opening mid-drive, the shower always leaks due to the set up, several broken window cranks, and some other things that I have already forgotten. Compared to others we camp with who don't experience these types of issues with their campers, I just don't think we purchased as quality a camper as we thought we were getting.

We have had this unit for about a year and a half. it has spent more time in the shop for repairs than with us. Everything from leaks to mechanical repairs. The dealer where we bought it has gone far above to resolve all issues. They have had so many problems with Gulf Stream they are dropping the line from there inventory. I bought the Gulf Streem because I can remember when they were top of the line. Now they're junk!!
