We have owned our 2012 OutdoorsRV Timber Ridge for over a year now and it has been awesome. Great amount of storage, private bedroom, built better than almost all RV's out there, There was one awful review from a customer that had many problems with a new 2016 Timber Ridge. I have spoken with many dealers an private owners before purchasing ours and this is a rare anomaly as far as this brand. Do not be swayed one customers experience when many people love the quality of this brand, look deeper into the brand and model and you will see I am correct! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHmfgf64lpM

We have owned this for 9 years. We bought it for when we retired. We use it about a week a year. Drive it 800 miles a year. These are the failures and costs so far 1. Axelbearing-$2500 (dealer warranty covered except $450 shipping. 2. Axel bearing again. Caused by faulty electric brake system $3500 (covered by purchased warranty 3. Paneling not glued. Coming off is several places. Repaired it myself. 4. Vinyl roof was never glued down. Factory error. Mfg refused to repair it. $1800.00. Out of pocket 5. Wiring not properly secured under slide out. Poorly designed Holder hinge broke. Repaired it myself. 6. AC was not properly installed. I had to reseal the duct work inside the enclosure for the AC unit. The seals were non existent so the cold air was directed randomly above the ceiling. 7. Other things that broke, microwave, power vent fan, gas detector, water heater, stove burner igniter. The spare tire was mounted to hang 3-4” below the bumper. I made a new bracket to raise it and stop it from scraping on the ground I would rate the quality of this company as poor. The interior design is very good. The towing is great as long as the axels don’t burn up. The customer service is zero. The mfg warranty is zero. If you purchase this unit, count in spending an addition $2500 a year in repairs on the average. Definitely buy a good Sam extended warranty.

Superior construction along with custom frame suspension and brakes makes for excellent rugged off-road RV. I laugh at the review that commented that everything froze up at 20 below. What a joker nowhere does the manufacturer claim that this RV is rated for that kind of temperature. If a person wanted to skirt it in and throw a heater underneath I'm sure you could push the limits somewhat. The only area of no improvement I found so far was the pushrods for the grey and black tanks where is easily bent because travel was not limited and the push rods were a little too long. This was easily remedied by installing limiter clamps

I purchased my 2012 fun finder spring 2017, I spent two years looking for the one I wanted. I took my time and looked at so many. The only other brand I found was close to the quality and craftsmanship was the Minnie Winnie rvs with the fiberglass exteriors. I love this Fun Finder RV. I grew up on camping/Recreating. So, I am very familiar with many types of tents rv,s, fifth wheels and their floor plans. This is a well made rv. It is a solid trailer, with a tip out that extends space where its needed. I've hauled my trailer down to the coast of Oregon and Norther, WA. I pulled and camped n higher elevations in N. Cascdes, and Glacier Natl to the plains. Through hot and dry climate along Columbia Gorge THIS TRAILER DID GREAT! I've tested in full hookup, generator, and battery only/dry camp and it exceeded my expectations. I love the storage, large pantry, shirt and coaT closet on either side of bed plus many over head compartments. There is a fan over the bed that cools down the coach. They make the best use of space and it is the placement of water pump and heater. It is in a convient place with easy one panel access below the pantry. I wish the under bench storage access was not under cusion and ply wood but nice easy slide drawers. I also have the switches for electric stabilizer jacks and wish I had jacks as its difficult to hand crank and or drill, doesn't do the trick. Happy Camping

Even has a coat closet by door. Don’t see that very often. No major maintenance problems during our tenure except had to replace Suburban water heater that sprung a leak. Dual 15,000 btu air conditioners keep us cool on the hottest days, even in AZ. Love the dual power fridge/freezer, built in dishwasher, large pantry and spacious interior. Love this more than the Newmar Mountainaire we originally bought and lived in for 4 years as full time RVrs.

Very happy with my ORV 23RKS! The build quality, design, strength and durability is top notch. Having owned it for over 4 years, it would be hard to even consider anything other than a Northwoods MFG/ORV product! It’s a heavy unit for the size (which should tell you something), coming in at 8500lbs loaded and the tongue weight north of 1500lbs. Comes with 5,200lb dexter axles and Goodyear tires - and with the northwood-built heavy frame...this thing tows and tracks superb! Basically 3/4 ton territory only (my tv is a duramax, and it breaks a sweat in the hills). I truly believe these trailers are built above and beyond anything else comparable, and this really shows in the small details you don’t think of. My unit is 7 years old and the fiberglass and decals show zero signs of fading or cracking, meaning they use higher quality stuff. I haul kayaks on a custom roof rack lag bolted to the roof, no issues! I have a rear hitch and bike rack on the sturdy bumper. I looked under a brand new Jayco Eagle the other day...the underbelly wasn’t nearly as tidy and cold weather designed and finished as mine. Plus, this trailer has large tanks, and lots of them! Factory solar panel and dual batteries is great for off grid. I also installed two remote control maxxfan units and a BAL undermount spare tire. But the true testament is the unbelievably rough back roads I’ve taken my unit down...all without issues. The interior cabinets are strong and well built, never an issue with anything! A lightweight trailer would have fallen apart on me long ago. If you truly want a well made camper that will last (which seems to be rare nowadays), buy an ORV or Northwood unit and have confidence knowing you bought the best.
