2012 Palomino reviews

Our first sabre literally fell apart the first time we used it. Dealer sent back to manufacturer who returned it with a new set of issues. Sabre paid the difference from what we bought to the next camper we bought to make up for the nightmares. The new camper worked fairly well and most issues were minor. However we took it to dealer and told them we could smell sewage in camper sometimes. Thier answer was that the vent pipe is close to the roof vent in bathroom so it must be from there. 10 years later my grey water tank was leaking. Small seepage but over time it filled the bottom cover with kitchen sink water. I tried to buy a new tank but the tanks are discontinued. So I plastic welded my tank. When putting it back in I found the cause of the sewage we were told was caused by the vent pipe being to close to the bathroom ceiling vent. Hi, I bought my camper brand new. After using it a couple times I told dealer I could smell sewage occasionally. They looked at camper and said it has to be coming from vent on roof. I was reconnecting the vent pipe under the sink to find out that the pipe goes into the wall where main stack goes up to roof and this 1-1/2” pvc vent pipe is not connected in the wall…. It moves back and forth and the tee in wall moves freely and bangs back and forth between the two walls….. there is no connection from the main stack pipe coming out of the black tank and the roof!!!! In my experience with two sabres they have very bad quality control. This camper is out of warranty and I just discovered this issue. I will have to remove the bathroom wall to access the pipes to make sure the vent stack is fully connected from tank all the way to the roof. Show less

Easy to tow and set up. Love all the outside features such as outside kitchen with refrigerator, sink and 3 burner stove, outside butane grill, outside shower and easy hook up for TV outside. Kitchen table can be moved around as needed. Bathroom area is huge with lots of storage. Show less

Very good condition, bigger than what I am looking for. Inside was in excellent condition and very well taken care of,clean! Nice floor plan as well ,moveable island is a great option, didn’t look as if it has been used much at all. I have looked at some that appear to be never cleaned ,this was definitely not the case , just a little bit more camper than I can use . Show less

Nice floor plan, plenty of room to move around. Kitchen has move around island which is very convenient. Very comfortable seating,electric fireplace is perfect for chilly days. Nice size shower . Plenty of room in bedroom to move around,dress, whatever. Overall a well done setup. Show less

VERY liveable with the washer and dryer, large bed space and 2 bathrooms . Full fridge is a must if you plan on living or entertaining on a trip ! Plenty of storage and i love the view from the sliding glass door. Show less

This RV was great for our little family. We only used it twice because we just couldn't find the time to take it out like we would have liked to. We we did take it, we were pleased with the amount of room, but if there had been any more of us or if our boys were older, it would have been too small. Show less

My wife and I traveled 9000mi in 30 days and stayed in the unit for 26 of those days. I was extremely pleased with it's performance. The only drawback is that it only sleeps 2. Show less

One of the nicest floor plans and tow ability trailers we have owned for the price level..only drawback is the fridge is hidden by slide out when it is in..could be moved but still a great product..Palomino builds great units. Show less
