We bought new and we thought a higher quality to prevent any kind of problems because we travelled so often. We wanted a reliable travel trailer. Unfortunately we’d have been better off buying used from someone. We got our new trailer and in the first day the lock to the door broke off in our hand. Then the cupboard door broke and fell off . As the months went by the number of things that went wrong we so many to list them here would take too long. Probably 30 things, everything from a cupboard falling off, to more serious things like the slide ( which was a super slide) not coming out, we had so many problems with this RV we truly wondered if they pulled people off the street to build it. Just a few things were the water tanks were never secured causing them to fall down. The heaters were never hooked up so heat didn’t come up from the vents, the sewer pipes never secured so they fell off while driving in Texas. The hot water tank never worked from day one. But the biggest was the slide, it would stop working so frequently it completely ruined so many trips because our slide would just stop making it so we couldn’t even use our RV. You can’t walk by if it doesn’t open . You can’t get to certain cupboards, can’t pull the bed out .. anyway we had it “fixed” so many times, but no one seemed to be able to and the reason we found out 10 years later was because the slide didn’t have certain important rollers installed from day one . Mandatory for the slide to glide on for proper operation “ in and out” so because they were not installed we had 10 years worth of problems with opening our slide, it’s sounded like it was screeching, it was so slow, at times wouldn’t come out at all, leaving us stranded without a livable trailer. So it was really hard on me I’m disabled, but I had to fix it by myself, removing the mechanism, having a machinist make 2 rollers because the company would not look into it wouldn’t accommodate me at this point, they felt we weren’t telling them the truth I guess because they just left us to deal with it eventually. For the first few years we were quite impressed with them, they fixed what they could and really came thru but as time went we became I’m sure quite a troublesome complaint to them as they couldn’t figure out why the slide never worked properly. So when we finally figured it out, fixed it and asked them to just compensate us for the parts we had to have specially made they declined to help. We have been thru so much with this RV wind river by outdoors rv I think it’s important to let people know . I bought this rv hoping my wife and I would have many happy trips and 80% of them were spent in rv repair shops and finally fixing it myself. Brand new is not always the best .. try used with all the kinks already worked out . Pros - this Company tried in the beginning Cons- Very disappointed in the end me having to fix and pay for it all. We came into our Viewfinder….from a divorce settlement..it had been sitting for 3-3.5 years! We got a smoking deal, and went thru it top to bottom. Had to tighten a few cupboard screws, and I hated that I couldn’t access the HW tank, so cut a clean hole with a small handle. The Awning is awesome, the slide is so good, the only thing I have been battling is a Thermal Fuse on the Dometic Fridge…it’s a buggar and has died twice at the most in opportune times. Yes the fender cracked…but it sat for for so long…easy fix..and not that expensive. With gas prices skyrocketing, we are taking a year off at a rented RV lot. Pumped to throw clothes and food into the car and head out!! Show less

My wife and I bought our creekside 18 ck brand new. Had some issues with hot water tank lines leaking due to unsupported tank(fixed myself). 2 years afetr purchase noticed fiberglass on front curve at top of trailer starting to delaminate.I have always resealed any areas that looked like they would maybe leak.Contacted dealer who then directed me to home company in Oregon. They said they would not cover anything after 1st year. Trailer is now 10 years old,fberglass from the first 12 inches from the top is completely delaminated and side of trailer delaminating at front corner,feels like no structure left behind fiberglass.I,m not sure if it can even be repaired but I,ll have to try,very dissappointed with our"forever" trailer. this trailer has seen very little use,I would hate to see what it would look like if we had travelled more. This motorhome has all the reliability and comfort of home. Easy to drive, has all the bells and whistles. To make rv traveling wonderful. The manufacturer has taken durability and comfort all in consideration. Great for weekends travel, or cross country. Just being on the open road. Show less

I’ve seen a lot of trailers in my day. But our 2011 creekside is the best trailer I have ever seen. Quality of this trailer trumps all others of its size and age. Its a little heavy, but that just stands to the quality. Still going strong 10 years later with heavy use. No breakdowns and everything is still working great. Will never trade. Show less

Purchased the 2011 Creekside 22RB no and owned it until 2018. The most perfect travel trailer I have ever owned. Put over 30,000 miles on the trailer. Drove and used in every kind of terrain and never had a single problem with any component of the trailer. I love what it looks like, I love how easy it is to drive, I love the quality workmanship. I am very glad that the first owner took such good care of it and maintained it so well like I do. I wasn't happy I had to fix a few things, but it is 9 years old and from use, some things just need to be maintained. Nicest motor coach I have ever owned and I'm sorry that circumstances are that I need to sell it. It should be used more. Show less

This triller is very lightweight making it easy to tow. The livability of this unit is great. I have spent up to 6 months living in it throughout the country and enjoyed it. The floor plan and slide made it extremely comfortable. Show less

We recently purchased this preowned this trailer and really enjoying the finishings and quality. Lots of storage yet compact and no waste space. Pulls like a dream. The reason for 1 star for warranty is that earthbound no longer in business but local dealer will look after any issues - of which there have ben none! Show less

The Earthbound I ordered and purchased new, has been of the highest quality. I work in the RV industry, and see a lot of different problems. By the time Earthbound finally got all the bugs out of their products, the recession took its toll on them, and many of the other manufacturers. The Dakota I own, has been almost perfect in quality and workmanship. And the quality of the products they installed have over time proven to be of very high quality. Show less
