I purchased my 5th wheel in Oregon, pre-owned in 2016 to use as my full time home. I had it delivered to Southern California to the mountains near San Diego and lived there for two years. Weather varied from 100+ down to 17 degrees! This well built, well insulated rig was comfortable throughout and the electric fireplace made it very cozy. The rear living was perfect for enjoying the views from every angle, and the open peninsula gave a spacious feel and was perfect for enjoying guest while cooking! Four slides gave me plenty of storage and wk around room. My cat really loved running from room to room with lots of windows to watch the world go by or catch a sunny nap! We moved to the high desert for a year and experienced the extreme weather there in comfort. Ample storage, hardwood cabinets, granite counters, washer & dryer, all made this economical, portable the perfect setting to live in, with the freedom to move my complete 'home' for the next adventure with minimum disruption.

I cannot say enough about how much my wife and I have loved this fifth wheel. We live in Coastal Virginia and love the beach life. The inside color scheme for this camper has always been one of the significant positives from the carpeting to the wallpaper to the countertops. Many campers represent a dark, "rich" theme. We find the lighter theme to be more open and pleasant. There are other campers that we have looked at and in the end, find the layout and color scheme of ours to well surpass anything we have seen since we bought this one. Its tow ability is excellent. It is easy to maneuver. Many ask how difficult pulling a 36 foot RV might be. I have an Ford F350 SuperDuty (an F250 is the smallest one should attempt with this size and weight camper), and it pulls like a dream. With the mirrors set properly, lane changes are very easy. The aggregation of all tank controls in one well-lighted place is convenient and simple regardless of time of day or night. The internal lay-out is excellent. With the bathroom/shower in the hallway (as opposed to in the master bedroom), one can have guests take advantage of the queen-size blow up couch bed and have free access to the bathroom without disturbing those in the master bedroom. This fifth wheel has always been fun!

Overall this is a great toy-hauler. At 36\' it\'s short enough not to be a huge problem maneuvering, but with 3 axles and a 12\" frame, it\'s plenty sturdy to take whatever you throw at it. And it has HUGE carrying capacity, with the 18K max gross provided by the 3-axle configuration. Note that in 2010 Heartland figured out that this rig was overbuilt, and produced the 3010 - the identical box, but on a 10\" frame with just 2 axles. That rig has a MUCH lower gross and carrying capacity because of that. Negatives which I\'ve fixed are the Lippert ramp - which has a tendency to fail. Mine is now sandwiched between two 18\" pieces of diamond-plate at the hinges (PS: ALL Lippert ramps on ALL toy-haulers have this issue). The suspension was barely adequate - fixed with an upgraded rubber-mounted hangers. Lousy China-Bomb tires failed at 20K miles, when I replaced them with Michelin Light Truck tirers. I will NEVER worry about my tires again. And like any heavy 5th-wheel, there was a lot of \"chucking\" going down the road. Fixed that with a Demco Pull-Rite pin box. Overall we are VERY pleased with this trailer, after 39000 miles and three cross-country trips. We couldn\'t have chosen a better rig!

Heartland put all the utilities in the same area which makes hooking up at an RV park a snap. The day/nite shades throughout give you much needed privacy when in a crowded park. All in all, we have loved owning this coach.

I hate to give up my beautiful home on wheels but I have no choice.
