Considering my wife and I have never even owned a camper let alone a 45 ft luxury Motorcoach, this Essex has made our journey an amazing one. After a few helpful You Tube videos and a little real world training…this coach is a joy to drive. The 500 HP Cummins diesel pusher has you passing trucks on most hills and will pull a tow car without noticing it’s there. We hope to get a newer Essex one day…this one has spoiled us for sure! I noticed how many reviewers have compared their Essex to an apartment. I found it funny because we often comment how much nicer this is than our first apartments! I’d be hard pressed to think of anything it is missing…washer/dryer, King sized bed, fireplace, 3 TV’s, full-sized shower, etc., etc. We have spent the last couple of years in a very nice Motorcoach resort…full of Newells, Prevosts, Marathons…our Essex fits in just nicely and the savings fit nicely in our bank account! Great coach!

Why do so many people complain and live in one of these which isn't design to be a 50 year home. So many of you don't maintain it as a home or a car but complain. It's just a recreational veh used to travel to some point ,stay in it like a motel room and then go back to your home and community that you are vested in. It's a vehicle not a permeate home. If you use it as a residence quit complaining that's not what is designed for or made for but you must spend time and money to maintain. if that's what you are doing..

I have a 2006 Newmar Kountry Star with the two separate windshields . I am having a big problem with both my windshields as they are popping out of the gasket as well as cracking. I have taken the RV to a truck collision company here in Calgary and they have determined that the windshield opening is no longer square . We are attempting to square and size the windshield opening as originally built however Newmar technical support will not provide this information to me . I would appreciate the following measurements to the nearest mm or 1/16” ; a) Atop the exterior windshield , the vertical distance from the inside edge of the gaskets where the two windshields meet in the middle . b) Atop the exterior windshield , the horizontal distance from the inside edge of the gasket on the passenger side to the inside edge of the gasket on the driver side , halfway up the windshield , inclusive of the curves . c) On the interior, the same measurement as b) but straight from side to side excluding the curves. Thx . Mike Donovan

I requested schematics and drawings for 12 volt system on the house side and they claim they do not have those. What little information I received was not very helpful. All they want to do is force you to go to a dealer. I was specifically told they would not have a technician help me because I'm an owner of a Newmar coach, can you believe that. Buyers beware.

This Newmar Essex drives like a dream. A Lot of people can look at a 45' Motorhome and get intimidated by the size. The Coach Tracks down any lane like an arrow. The visibility is fantastic even in the blind spots as with the side view cameras there are no blind spots. The Coach tows a towed car as if it wasn't there at all but yet you can see it safe and sound in the rear camera at all times. The coach floats on its Spartan chassis like it's riding on a cloud. Once at your destination nd the 4 slides are open there is ample room and luxury living just as if you were home. The storage capacity is huge inside and in the storage bays. The Generator is a 12.5 KW Quiet Diesel which provides enough power to run anything you need in the coach while running all 3 A/C units to bee cool and comfortable in the Summer or the Hydro Hot heat in the winter. You can't go wrong with a Newmar Coach.

This Newmar 5th wheel is very comfortable and economical to heat and cool. We purchased this unit to travel to Florida from January thru May each year. This RV has a large amount of storage with the pantry and lazy susan making it almost like cooking at home. There are more than adequate amount of full size drawers in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. With the two recliners, sofa and the surround sound makes viewing TV very comfortable A large heated basement that supplied all the storage space needed. I had no difficulty in towing, it is well balanced and it also has excellent braking system.

Loved this RV from the moment we purchased it. Bought it from a gentleman that really took care of it. Had more options than we were looking for and most everything was new. Took it on a 8000 mile trip right after purchasing and really impressed us with the amount of room and the livability of this. It was our first RV and it really set the bar high. Biggest bathroom I've seen in one. Large enough for a baby "pack n play" while driving down the road with the door closed. Would definitely do this again.

This is hard to part with but it's time. This has been stored in a temperature controlled garage, when not in use, since day one. No smoke or animals, EVER. Immaculate inside and out. With four slides,it is exceptionally spacious and easy to relax. The engine performs very well on Colorado, Alaska and Pennsylvania's mountains, when towing a vehicle. The in-motion satellite provided great TV reception when traveling throughout the United States. My wife appreciated the built-in oven along with the convection/microwave oven when preparing meals for Newmar Rallys. Belonging to Newmar Kountry Klub was another great benefit to owning this RV!
