2006 Tiffin reviews

Bought 2006 a few years ago with 43000 mi.have since full timed in it and love it.the quality,customer support at Red Bay( been there 3X)and everything about it.I had a 40 ft Gulfstream Tourmaster prior and hated it,no customer support,low quality.Tiffin is the only motor home I will buy from now on. The FIRST work I think of is 'dependable'. And comforting. We had never driven a Class A. Was a bit scared. We drove 567 miles to Springfield, MO. to take possession late in the afternoon. Of course, In September 2018, dark came upon us rapidly and we drove until midnight to get home. Was a wee bit more scary. But very dependable and comforting. Five weeks later, we got brave enough to take it out the gate and took a 400 mile trip to visit a daughter. Dependable and 5 days of comfort. Getting used to it. Of course, we did not use the coach as much as we planned. Finally took a 10 day trip to Tennessee and the mountains were handles beautifully by the transmission. No issues. Second 2019 trip was to New Bern, NC. Very comfortable and dependable. No issues. Then the BUS sat in the barn from Jan 2020 thru July 2021 due to us being so scared of covid. Therefore, still low mileage for the next owner. Show less

We upgraded from a smaller Minnie Winnie which had a lot of repairs that had to be done in the first month. We found this rig at a reputable dealer in Desert Hot Springs and it has had ZERO problems. The quality is there and it has all of the comforts of home. And I am the farthest from a 'camper' as you can get. I love living in this home and plan to enjoy it as long as we can. We are in the market for a larger one now as a matter of fact. It tows a large SUV with no problems and handles well in the wind. Gets about 8mpg. Show less

Owned this MH over 4 yrs. Runs and drives better than previous Tiffin MH owned, 6 Tiffin MH over all. Love floor plan, good for longer stays, but not to large, like 40 ft bus we had prior. Better quality than other MH in price range. Tiffin does lots little extras on this 2006 Allegro Bay,like corian counters, roof satellite, inverter, power sun shades, much more, not options at additional cost, but standard. The main reason bought this Allegro Bay for floor plan, and know best customer service by Tiffin. Tiffin service department are industry's best walking you through any situation on your MH regardless of age. Just wish newer Tiffins build as well as older ones were. I bought new Tiffin in 95 and 99 Tiffin. Minimum things needed corrected then. Show less

Best RV ever all the way around. It has treated us well, with no issues. Only selling to go bigger. This is the biggest you can go and still stay in state parks!! Very comfortable and reliable!! Very spacious, with a ton of storage everywhere!! Love have the 2 a/c units with furnaces. Helps so much in any climate!! Show less

It is Tiffin. The customer service and quality is self explanatory. It is easy to call Tiffin directly for any parts. I have called and gotten a Tiffin family member on the phone. It is hard to come close to that. Show less

This Tiffin Phaeton has be a joy to own. Although we have had it just 2 years. My health has prevented us from using more. We have traveled through 18 states. The coach is comfortable, easy to handle and decent on fuel (8+ mpg). When all 4 slides are open, the asinine out it feels like we are at home in our living room. We constantly get comments on what a nice RV we have. 6 surgeries in the last 2 years really limits my movement so I must let someone us enjoy the terrific coach. Show less

Very beautiful Coach! Never any problems. Rides like a Ferrari! I would recommend this model coach to anyone! Love the interior features perfect for cross country road trips! It is literally a luxury house on wheels! Show less

I really like the spacious feeling in this RV. I lived in it for almost 2 years and it was very comfortable. The only thing I would have liked was having the TV be on an swing out arm so that I could watch it from the sofa easily. The rig is very well made and I enjoyed both driving it and living in it. We bought this outstanding class A diesel motorhome new @ Lazy DaysIn. FL.I I love my Phaeton it's been faithful to us for 12 years of full timing. Also Bob Tiffin is the most honest businessmen and caring person you will ever meet there isn't too many CEOs will give you their cell phone number if you have a problem anywhere America or Canada or Mexico. Bob tiffin's helped us out many times I can't say enough about this great man if you buy his product you'll never regret it! Show less
