Overall is okay, but lacks some of the quality detail of a Fleetwood Terra of the same size. Fuel mileage is not great, but the engine is more dependable than the alternate used by Fleetwood on a Ford chassis. Maintanance should not be neglected, and it gets a lot of improvenent with steering stabilizer and rear spring and axle torsion bar stailizer unit. The bathroom could be improved with the addition of a ceramic pedal flush toilet as the plastic ones tend to absorb smell, and are very low to the floor for taller persons. Hydraulic levelling is a better system than electric, and day night shades on all windows are a must! The entry door would leak less if it had a rounded corner top edge configuration.

This has been a great camper for our family over the last 12 years. Rather camping, hunting or fishing, we were able to house us, our 2 boys and 2 dogs. The side door entry helps so much when your towing a trailer or boat and the onboard generator was so helpful to run the microwave in the backcountry. Everything works perfect on the inside, some wear on the outside due to age and general use.

I love my RV, we bought it at an auction and have had nothing but good things to say. I have been very happy with the layout, dependability, features, and well made. We have thought of getting a newer model, but we feel so happy with what we have we are just revamping the inside with fresh carpet, paint, etc. It is sturdy and the very minimal issues with engine. Definitely don't make them like they used to, so we are sticking with out 2002 Southwind.

The Discovery 37T has the nicest layout of all coaches in this era. The long counter in the kitchen is what sold me. I like having the space. The Caterpillar 3126 pushes this coach very well, it is quiet and is a very comfortable ride thanks to the air ride suspension.
On the highway it tracks straight and true -68 MPH seems to be the sweet spot for cruising although the engine has plenty of power to cruise at 75 or better, I just don't feel good above 70 in something this large.
We tow a Ford Edge, I have towed an 8000# boat long distance several times with no issues other than a flat tire on the boat trailer that I did not feel for a long distance.
Setting up at the campground is a breeze, it takes me less than 5 minutes to park, air down, power up, level the coach and extend the slides. A huge improvement over a 5th wheel (although a similar sized 5th wheel is much roomier).
The fleetwood 37T is best suited for a couple. There is a jackknife sofa and a booth that converts to a bed, but its probably only good for kids or a one nighter. The sleeping Capacity is 6 - but 4 of em better be kids if that makes sense.
Our Discovery has been from West Coast to East Coast, from Miami North to Tennessee - I have never had it north of the Mason Dixon line.

Have had this coach for 10 years and still going strong. Had some normal RV issues, but overall it's extremely reliable and practical.
A lot of comments on forums about the Freightliner XC chassis ride quality. I have figured it out.
I am running Toyo's set to their spec pressure, not 110 PSI, I run 85 PSI in the front, huge change in ride quality. Get your coach weighed and pull the tire chart for your tires you might be surprised. Added Tru Center steering control, added rear sway bar, added an updated bellcrank, changed the shocks and added the comfort ride air control values on all four air bags. Ride quality is night and day, goes down the road straight and true. I have put about 30k miles on this coach and hasn't missed a beat. The HP is fine for the power to weight ratio, can keep up with traffic in the mountains towing a mini van and still gets 10 MPG if you run around 60 MPH. Can't beat it.

Fridge keeps things very cold and freezer keeps all items solid as a rock. Changed original mattress for a home size queen made sleep much better. Installed crank down rear stabilizers and power front hitch. Awning easy to operate. Just a great camping experience every time.
