2002 Alpine Coach reviews

I bought this 2002 American Heritage 45SS and am the current owner and paid cash and I would like to put it on the market through RVT as my health will not allow me to enjoy it I've added a few more upgrade as a brand new exhaust new 10,000# tow hitch and many more with complete documentation the ad number that it was listed under was 8614695 could you also please send all prior description that the previous owner Larry Brown listed on your site as I will pay the cost to have this done thank you waiting to hear from you..Val Valdez Show less

Here is the thing, you asked me to rate a "Rolls Royce" motorhome, so of course it is going to rate high. My motorhome cost the original buyer over half a million dollars back 17 years ago, so you would expect something nice. Has it been perfect, no, but most of the materials used to make it and the design and assembly has been excellent. Plus we have had very good experience using the factory in Oregon for service. They are usually half the price of our local service people and do the job right. My biggest complaint with this coach is that my wife and I started out going to buy something much smaller 11 years ago and we ended up with a 42' coach instead of a 30' one. But on the other hand this coach has been a pleasure to stay in for long periods of several months when we go on extended trips. I am sure there have been some improvements on coaches in the last 17 years, but my guess is that most of the improvements would be similar to cars, limited mostly to electronics. Certainly TV sets have gotten better since 2002. But that was easily fixed in our rig. Motors, transmissions, generators, and so on are the same as back then. So overall I don't think there is much we miss by having a coach of this age. And we paid a price we could afford to buy this back in 2008. There is no way we could have bought a new one with our budget. Not one of our many RV friends has a coach that I would rather have than ours and that includes a number of high end ones and much newer ones. Show less

I have owned this coach for 4 years. We have spent the last two summers on the road in it with no issues. It has 100000 miles on a Spartan chassis that is designed for a million. Does not use one drop of oil, no leaks of any kind. Engine, transmission and entire drive train in excellent condition. Air ride with plenty of power. We towed a 4 door Jeep Rubicon with ease. Interior is roomy and has all the high end comforts of a top of the line coach. Plenty of storage inside and underneath in the full basement. Truly road and live in ready. Solid wood cabinets, tiled kitchen, laminate flooring and corian counter tops. New this cost over $300000. Amazing deal at this price. Show less

My husband and I very much enjoyed our experience of traveling in our hurricane motor home, giving us the freedom without all the hassle of worrying about finding a place to stay along the way. It was home away from home. We were comfortable with the accommodations nice and roomie , homey, lots of cupboard space and storage. Just the right length, and drives smooth. Is great on gas, have had very little problems sence we purchase it new in 2002. we are the original owners. The only reason I'm selling it is because my husband passed last December 2015. He is the one who did all the up keep on it, and I don't plan on traveling by my self. So i have decided to sell it now. I recommend this home away from home to anyone who enjoys traveling in comfort and convenience. You can still have home cooked meals and sleep in your own bed. and not have to worry about finding a place that accepts pets if you have any. To us it was a no fuss good time, making us happy campers. I'm sure you too will enjoy the journey as much as we did. Show less

We absolutely love the Country Coach RV's we have had several, by far this has been one of the best. It handles remarkably, with plenty of power and stability. Also, the overall quality of the materials used is by far an upgrade above the rest. This is our only choice for an RV and have previously owned American Eagle, American Dream as well as a Monaco Dynasty, no comparison. I just worry now they have sold out, sad day... Show less

Second owner and owned for over 8 1/2 years. Have traveled coast to coast with last major trip being 16,674 miles to Alaska and most of the northwest. Lot of driver time over the years. Country Coach built a solid cold weather coach that can handle any roads and mountains with ease. The Coach came with the Engineered drawing and Technical Manuals identifying every part on the Chassis and House. Made identifying and repairing a breeze over the years. Ride is smooth and super quiet even with the generator running. No sway when semi's are passing. As for Livability using as a full timer would not be a problem. This model has an abundance of cabinets for storage and is a well thought out Coach. Dual head shower is very large with built in seat. If we were to continue RVing we wouldn't hesitate to buy a Country Coach - Show less

Have taken yearly two to three month trips across the U.S. since 2004. Alpine is easy to drive, confortable ride on airbags, adjustable captains chair. Diesel engine has enough power to scale mountain roads and is located in back keeping the noise down. Once parked, setup is easy with automatic leveling and powered slide-outs. The satellite seeker is automated for access to satellite TV. When expanded, the vehicle is roomy and confortable. A true home on wheels. Park the RV in a RV Park and explore the area using the tow car for transportation. This RV provides a second home located wherever you want to stay. The Alpine is built on a custom chassis with unified construction so it has low noise and no squeaks when traveling. Show less
