The floor plan is simple and roomy. I’m fortunate enough to have a nice couch and upgraded chair. The dinette booth provides an area to enjoy on the road. Once parked the slide goes out and the Coach opens up for a nice space.
I have traveled with dogs and kids and the materials have held up nicely. The original solar panel keeps the batteries charged.

I owned thus Southwind 32V for 22 Years and 81,000 miles without a single major issue. Great Motorhome. Sure, in 22 years I tightened a lot of loose screws, plumbing connectors, compartment hatches. Like any vehicle if you maintain it, it will last. Most people think Motorhomes are like cars. They are and they aren’t. They require a lot of tender loving care which it you provide it the coach will last you a long long time without any major issues. I had to use Fleetwood warrant service just once. The front cap popped loose from the top of the windshield. The dealer wanted to charge my insurance when they broke one of the windshields while removing it. I refused. Fleetwood stepped up and made sure the repairs were done correctly. Took about a week. Since then over 20 years have passed without need for any emergency service other than maintenance and routine repairs.

We purchased this used camper from State 48 RV in Apache Juntion, Arizona. The camper had a nose issue due to damage looking like a bump on the driver side. When we noticed and talked to the RV owner about it, ha assured us it was fine but if we took it in to our repair shop and it needed fixing, they would figure out how to help. We love the camper but when we took it in to have it recalked, we were told that there was indeed damage. I called the State 48 RV owner and reported what was found. He was on vacation at the time, so he told me exactly what to do. Five weeks later I text him to ask if we could hear from him that day. He called was intensely irritated with me and yelled at me over the phone to a point I had to hang up on him. Do not do business with this company.

We started traveling with 2 Travel Trailers, upgraded to 3 Gas Motorhomes — 2 of them Class A’s. After switching to this Class A Diesel Pusher, the difference in drivability was the difference between day and night. Drivability in the mountains, handling in high winds- especially cross winds — and acceleration, passing other vehicles, top speed, and fuel mileage was so much better. The unit has lots of storage inside and out. With 2 slideouts living space was another major improvement. We enjoyed a number of 5-6 week family trips with up to 8 people from 3 generations. Two members of the oldest generation lived in it seasonally in Florida for 3 winters and were very comfortable. It has a been a wonderful home away from home and has enabled us to create many wonderful and memorable family experiences. It is with great sadness that our family travels have basically ended with our grandchildren now having become adults with jobs, limited scheduling availability, and their own kids.

As someone who used to sell RVs back in the day, I was aware of many different RV brands.
Fleetwood was superior at so many price points because they shared the quality details throughout the product line so entry RVs got many of the same treatments as their highline ones. This Flair has a Power Platform, the same as Fleetwood's Top-line motorcoaches have.
This stiffens the structure significantly. Your benefits include: Safety- Far better handling, Comfort- Much quieter cabin on the road, and Longevity- Way less torque on all seals. Meaning these are less likely to have leaks. Now, 20 years later, they still use this structure in today's units.
An older Flair is an excellent choice for a higher value/lower drama RV experience.

Home for us 5 to 6 months every year for the summer! Quality and dependability are great. Having central vacuum and washer/drier and convection oven as well as great purified water made it like home! I love the roomy sleeping quarters with a quiet ceiling fan. 9-10 miles to the gallon seems like better than most of my friends with plenty of power from the Cummins turbo! Never a problem towing my car! Had a couple problems with the hydraulic jacks, but solved them. Loved the huge electric Gerrard patio shade with automatic wind sensor which closed it once and surprised me! Very quiet and super smooth ride. Didn’t like that the Bose stereo system wasn’t hooked up to the tv. Was nice to have the 1000 lb super slides in the storage compartment, and the extra freezer/refrigerator in a pull-out storage compartment was nice for fish and extra ice.
Had a few electrical problems till I had a new inverter installed, then has worked fine since. We loved the many ceiling lights and changed the bulbs to dim-able LEDs. Didn’t like the window covers or shades, so we had all removed and replaced with window horizontal blinds, which we love and it made all the windows so much bigger to see out of. The quality wood and leather made it so appealing! The storage compartments had electrical locks which I was never able to get working but I loved how the storage doors opened upwards instead of out like most coaches. Cleaning the black and gray tanks was a breeze, with controls to empty and flush clean.

The side slide out adds a huge amount of space to the living area. The bathroom and master bed can have privacy with the door design from the rest of the camper, very nice for group camping. Super roomy with overhead canopy design and also great for towing, strong 10 cylinder engine.
