We have enjoyed this Dutch Star immensely. Floor plan is suits us n our daughters family of four very well. Queen walk around master with plenty of clothes storage n hanging area x 4. Queen fold out couch is very easy to set up n take down. Rocker recliner swivels n is comfortable for reading at length. Driver n passenger front luxury seating is electric n so gentle on our old bones 🤪. One super slide makes the living room very large. The engine is quiet n efficient at 9-11 mpg. Fully loaded towing a trailer with our suv on it. We have always used the best filters (Donaldson n Amsoil) n amsoil 100 % synthetic fluids threw out. New AC’s are very cool 😎. Self leveling is a must we never take for granted New tires ride great. The Spartan Mtn master chassis is one of the best options we have for ride n steering. 115gl water tank n 100gl diesel fill either side are advantages we support for any RV. Needless to say we have enjoyed this coach for many years n we are only parting with it because of my sight failing It’s been a great ride. Time to move on. Mike Show less

Our 2000 Dutch Star has been a pleasure to own. It is not too long at 38' but has all the comforts and storage needed for long term use. My husband felt a second opposing slide would have made a big difference but I did not feel the same. It has been reliable for over 70,000 miles we put onto the 90,000 miles it already had. Costs for upkeep and repairs has been minimal compared to other R.V.'s Show less

One of the best motor couch I have ever owned.We took it across country and back up and down East coast. With open living area and full living slide its a joy to set up and enjoy. Even if you do not open slide out you have a large living room easily able to go from front to read of couch. Show less

We have had this RV for about seven years. I still love it as much as the first time I saw it. The floor plan is ideal. I like the fact that I can turn the driver's and passenger's seats around to become part of the living room to make seating for 2 extra people. (seats 7 comfortably) There's an unbelievable amount of storage throughout the RV, including a huge closet and so many cabinets and drawers in the bedroom that I have never utilized all of it. Our ONLY reason for selling is our ages. I don't drive it and hubby is less comfortable with his driving than he was a few years ago. I could easily become a full time RVer with this RV. I love the convection/microwave, meaning I can bake cakes, cornbread, biscuits, etc., quickly. One feature I LOVE is the fact that the engine heats the water while it's running so you can get a nice hot shower as soon as you stop. We shopped around a lot for an RV, but when we saw this one we were sold ! Show less

We special ordered this coach when we decided to RV full time. We full timed for 6 years, had a wonderful time, traveled all over never staying for over 30 days in any place. Health problems caused us to settle down and buy another home. We still travel some but not over 2weeks at at a time. At our age it's time to shed some of our possessions. This coach is out 6th motor home we have owned since 1978 an by far the very best and trouble free one! Bob Show less

We love the coach, just added two bedroom slides to give us three slide outs and a bit more room. Great mileage, nearly 10 MPG. No serious mechanical issues in our nearly 15 years of driving. Love the Spartan Chassis, its been great... Would buy another Newmar in a heartbeat. Show less
